week of July 17 to 24, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 12 animal calls, 92 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

7/17/23

2:13 a.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of East Lake Hills. RP stated her husband and son just left for work and they passed a male standing in the roadway with bags in his hands. They would like a deputy to drive out the area and attempt to locate. RP advised there has been many thefts in the area. -Steven Edwards responded.

10:01 a.m.- Deputy Assistance- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59. RP has a renter who is not paying for water, so he is going to put a padlock on the meter and is wanting a deputy to go with him. -Daniel Whitus responded.

5:42 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of the Dollar Store. RP advised her purse was stolen earlier today. She is now at her residence and would like to make a report. -Charles Webber responded.

7:33 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of E. 987 Rd. RP advised his home was broken into last night. He noticed some tools are missing from his toolbox, he is unsure at this time if anything else is missing. -Charles Webber responded.

8:38 p.m.- Harassment- Sonic employee has been sexually harassed by another employee. She would like to make a report. -Gore PD responded.

9:45 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Martin Luther King. RP believes there is a female in his attic. -Vian PD responded.

7/18/23

2:24 p.m.- Traffic- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64/82. Red mustang going over 100 mph. Tried to initiate stop, but could not catch up to them. -Michelle Rigsby responded.

5:54 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Parkview area. Believes someone is casing the neighborhood again. -Charles Webber responded.

6:20 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of the old A to Z. RP advised there is a male trespassing. Just left the area headed south on Hwy. 59 from the old A to Z wearing a black shirt, ball cap, blue jeans and tennis shoes. -Charles Webber and Jeff Neighbors responded.

6:47 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 1030 Rd. RP advised her neighbor has one of her packages that Fedex accidentally delivered to them, and they will not give it back to her or answer her phone calls. She stated she spoke to 806 about the incident previously. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

7:04 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4460 Rd. RP advised a black truck pulled up to their back door and dropped off a baby goat. -Charles Webber responded.

10:02 p.m.- Suspicious Person-In the vicinity of E. 953 Rd. RP advised there are several people in her back yard naked. -Charles Webber responded.

10:54 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of S. 4469 Rd. RP advised a dark-colored Dodge truck and another vehicle she could not see pulled in and out of her driveway several times. They are now at the corner yelling at each other. -Cody Parkerson and Charles Webber made an arrest.

7/19/23

11:36 a.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of S. 4696 Rd. RP advised her son ordered a package but mistyped the address. The package was delivered to the address he mistyped and when the son went to the house to see if they had the package, they advised they did not but the RP says that in the picture, you can see where the package was delivered on their front porch. -Brian Stone responded.

9:43 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the Marble City School area. RP advised on the west side of the road south of Marble City School, there is someone in the woods flashing a light towards the road. -Duwaine Chase responded.

7/20/23

8:37 a.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of E. 1105 Rd. Rp advised she has not seen her neighbors in a couple days. When she stopped at the stop sign this morning, she said there was a horrible smell. She looked around for dead animals but couldn’t find any. Just wants a welfare check on her neighbors. -Brian Stone responded.

9:29 a.m.- Assault- In the vicinity of S. 4415 Rd. RP wants to speak to a deputy in reference to somebody following him home, and getting out and shoving him. Vehicle and subject are still there, RP thinks he is intoxicated. -Randy Taylor responded.

11:03 a.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Paw Paw Rd. RP advised she was letting a friend work on her vehicle. When she got the vehicle back, she took it to a mechanic shop and found out her friend took the catalytic converters, 02 sensors, and cut some wires. -Michelle Rigsby responded.

11:23 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of Fin and Feather. RP advised that he is out with four juveniles that have been ringing doorbells in the area and harassing the residences. -Mark Choate responded.

7/21/23

12:33 a.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 95 Rd. RP would like to speak with a deputy about real estate agents putting people in a residence and they have fake papers. -Mark Choate responded.

1:36 a.m.- Prowler- In the vicinity of E. 1120 Rd. RP advised there are people outside with guns. -Mark Choate, Duwaine Chase, and Steven Edwards made an arrest.

9:00 a.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4705 Rd. Male subject got his car stuck in the ditch, now he’s wandering around and disappeared in the woods. Caller is home by herself but has to leave soon. -Daniel Whitus responded.

11:35 a.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4646 Rd. RP advised they are in the process of moving and somebody has busted out the front door window and kitchen window. -Daniel Whitus and Michelle Rigsby responded.

12:41 p.m.- Stolen Property- At Gans Dollar Store. 815 advised there is a female that was caught shoplifting. -Daniel Whitus made an arrest.

3:29 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4754 Rd. RP advised a house he owned recently caught on fire. He knows who did it after seeing a neighbor’s security cameras. He advised the truck he seen on the video has been stealing property and then the day the house caught on fire, they heard a boom and seen the same truck take off from the property. -Daniel Whitus responded.

6:20 p.m.- 10-21 phone call- In the vicinity of E. 1030 Rd. RP advised that she has more information on Fedex delivering to the neighbor’s house. She stated that she has picture proof. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

7:34 p.m.- Medical- In the vicinity of S. 4660 Rd. RP advised that his brother was driving a skid steer and hit a tree earlier, and now he is passed out in the middle of the road. -Randy Taylor and Michelle Rigsby responded.

7/22/23

7:30 a.m.- Unattended Death- In the vicinity of E. 1099 Rd. RP advised that his brother-in-law is laying on the ground by the road and appears to have been hit by a vehicle. -Justin Deuley responded.

2:32 p.m.- Threats- RP called and advised her neighbor was threatening her over grass cuttings blowing into his barn. -Randy Taylor responded.

8:46 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of 1040 Rd. RP advised she could hear a young child yelling for help. Advised she could hear a lawnmower or weed eater. Advised now she’s unable to hear anything. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

11:28 p.m.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of McQuicks. RP advised she works at McQuicks and there is a red car in the parking lot that has been there for over 30 minutes. They would like someone to check it out. -Tenkiller State Park and Charles Webber responded.

7/23/23

4:30 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd. RP advised she had her land surveyed and the neighbors who she has had previous issues with, have stolen all her markers. She stated they have been previously trespassed from the property. -Justin Deuley responded.

5:40 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd. RP wants to speak to a deputy, she stated she is having a reoccurring issue with people watching her shower. -Cody Parkerson responded.

6:38 p.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101. RP advised his daughter came to his residence and tore everything up. He also stated she wrote two checks under his name, approximately $400. -Jeff Neighbors responded.

8:17 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4510 Rd. RP advised there are two people on his roof with guns. He did not see them but can hear them, and they are talking but can’t tell what they are saying. -RandyTaylor andTyler Engleman responded.

11:53 p.m.- Other- In the vicinity of E. 953 Rd. RP called and said her neighbors are urinating in her food and she wanted it tested, and wanted to press charges. -Charles Webber responded.
