Junior bullfighter contest happening during rodeo

The Sequoyah Animal Advocates will present a junior bullfighting contest on Friday and Saturday nights during the 79th annual Sallisaw Lions Club Rodeo, which will begin Thursday night.

Sign-ups will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the mutton busting area, with the competition beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The competition will be open to boys and girls ages 4-12. There is no cost to enter.

Winners will be announced during the performance.
