During the week of July 24 to 31, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 19 animal calls, 115 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

7:37 a.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Old Bridge Rd. RP with Union Pacific called and requested a check on a teenager walking on the railroad in the area. The teenager was described as a white male with ...

During the week of July 24 to 31, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 19 animal calls, 115 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:
7/24/23
7:37 a.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Old Bridge Rd. RP with Union Pacific called and requested a check on a teenager walking on the railroad in the area. The teenager was described as a white male with red hair, wearing a black shirt, shorts and a bandana. -Gore PD responded.
12:08 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of S. 4446 Rd. RP advised his neighbor walked over to him and was talking about his brother, and something about a stolen lawn mower and making threats towards his brother, and had a gold club in his hand. -Shane Petree responded.
7:43 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1085 Rd. RP advised a couple of weeks ago they had their neighbors trespassed from their property and today the neighbor was on their property again. He is not on the property at this time. RP would like to make a report. At 7:47 dispatch received a call from a subject who stated her brother went over to the neighbor’s property to get their goats and a male subject from the home pointed a gun at him. -Steven Edwards responded.
7/25/23
2:19 a.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 964 Rd. RP said there was a white female on her porch with a flashlight. She said she did not know where she was at. She is wearing a blue shirt and shorts. There was a second call regarding a skinny white female walking with a flashlight in the same general area. -Steven Edwards responded.
3:58 a.m.- Prowler- In the vicinity of E. 1107 Rd. RP advised she had someone knocking on her door. She could not see anyone or any vehicles. -Steven Edwards responded.
1:03 p.m.- Stolen Property In the vicinity of E. 1109 Rd. RP advised while he had out the keys in his garage lock and was in the garage, someone ran up and took the keys to everything out of the lock, and ran off with them. He saw them wearing red, unknown of what or who. -Allen Ramey responded.
2:53 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of N. Wheeler. RP advised they had some renters move out and they destroyed the property, and took the fridge. -Allen Ramey responded.
7/26/23
7:22 a.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 952 Rd. RP advised that her neighbor was trespassing on her property and weed eating. She advised that she has asked him to stop trespassing. She also said he has been trespassed in the past. -Justin Deuley gave a verbal trespass.
8:37 a.m.- Welfare Check- RP advised he was walking his dogs by the Kingdom Builders church and noticed a door was open and there wasn’t any vehicles or people in the parking lot. -Daniel Whitus responded.
10:04 a.m.- Other- Gans had a woman drive up and advise him of a black bag that could possibly have a body inside of it, laying on the left side of the road. -Daniel Whitus responded.
7:24 p.m.- Stolen Property-At Marval. RP advised some children have stolen her paddle board and are floating down the river on it with two tubes attached. She believes they are headed to Gore Landing. -Michelle Rigsby responded.
8:39 p.m.- Welfare Check- In the vicinity of Swon Rd. Male subject wearing a grey sleeveless shirt and shorts walking south on Swon Road between Craven Crest and Remy Road is in the middle of the road heavily intoxicated. -Jeff Neighbors responded.
7/27/23
9:59 a.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the Vian are., RP advised she has a rental home and the man she was renting to has left. He moved a female into the residence who is not on the lease and she is still on the property. RP would like to know what she can do. -Justin Deuley responded.
1:53 p.m.- Stolen Property-RP advised she had her phone stolen from McQuick’s. -Justin Deuley and Daniel Whitus took this report.
7/28/23
1:51 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- RP would like to speak with a deputy regarding her packages being delivered to her neighbor’s yard. -Brian Stone responded.
4:30 p.m.- Drugs- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59 North. RP is the manager of the Dollar Store at Stoney Point. He advised one of his employees found a baggie with a crystal-like substance. He advised that their employees could not discard it in the trash and requested a deputy to pick it up. -Shane Petree responded.
7:45 p.m.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4767 Rd. RP advised they are having an ongoing issue with neighbors. The neighbors keep throwing feed over the fence to feed his animals. -Steven Edwards responded.
7/29/23
1:04 a.m.- Assault- In the vicinity of S. 4660 Rd. RP stated that a male in a yellow Dodge pickup assaulted her husband. He left but stated he was coming back, and was going to kill them. -Randy Taylor responded.
3:52 a.m.- Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 1109 Rd. RP advised his vehicle was just stolen. It was about five houses down from his, having some mechanical work done on it. They just called and told him the vehicle just left. -Shane Petree and Steven Edwards responded.
4:00 a.m.- Deputy Assistance- Roland PD doing a traffic stop and had shots fired at them. Subject took off on foot southbound into the woods. -Steven Edwards, Herb Hutchinson, Randy Taylor, Austin Blackfox, Cody Parkerson and Mark Choate responded.
12:13 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- RP advised she has been trespassed off her own property and would like to speak to a deputy about it. -Austin Blackfox responded.
8:52 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. Cherokee. RP reported that there was a female on a vacant property next to his. The female had been in his storage building earlier. He had more contact with the female but she is still on the property. -Randy Taylor responded.
9:47 p.m.- Robbery- In the vicinity of S. 4510 Rd. RP reported a home invasion at his sister’s house and thought he heard gunshots. He thought there were four subjects. -Herb Hutchinson, Randy Taylor and Jimmy Carson responded.
7/30/23
11:25 a.m.- Follow Up- At Marvel Resort. RP would like to speak to a deputy, her paddle board was stolen yesterday. Deputy Webber made report. RP has come across some additional information. -Shane Petree responded.
5:19 p.m.- Traffic- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64 East of Vian. RP called and reported damage to the roadway east of Vian. The pavement buckled and it was like a large speed bump. Vian 309 had the same call and went to check. 309 found the damage and requested ODOT. -Vian PD responded.
8:12 p.m.- Fire- RP said there was smoke in the basin below Tenkiller Dam in the wildlife area. -Jimmy Carson responded.
9:44 p.m.- 10-6 Busy- In the vicinity of 64 just east of I-40. Female laying on the side of the road. -Randy Taylor responded.
7/31/23
4:58 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- RP advised her grandfather is at Sallisaw Casino and is needing a ride home. She stated she contacted Sallisaw PD and they advised her to call us. -Robert Jones responded.
6:53 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of S. 4540 Rd. RP advised her son has been having issues with the neighbor and her son was driving in front of the neighbor’s residence. The neighbor pointed a black pistol at him. RP is very upset and wanting to speak to a deputy about the situation. -Charles Webber responded.
8:06 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4750 Rd. Residence north of Muldrow received a 21 by homeowner, who stated there is an abandoned dirt bike on the property. -Cody Parkerson responded.
11:39 p.m.- Suspicious Person.- At the body shop, Central High Road. People walking around shining flashlights at cars. -Cody Parkerson responded.
