08/07/23 to 08/13/23 During the week of August 6 to 13, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 13 animal calls, 120 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

During the week of August 6 to 13, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 13 animal calls, 120 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

08/07/2023

12:47 p.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of 4720 Rd. RP believes someone poured gas around her house and would like a deputy. – Austin Blackfoot responded.

6:22 p.m. – Speak with a Deputy – In the vicinity of 1058 Rd. RP would like to speak to a deputy. She stated her ex-boyfriend is threatening to throw all of her stuff out when she leaves the residence, and she would like to know if he is allowed to do so. – Mark Choate responded.

8:34 p.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of 935 Rd. RP advised the first two houses on the street are abandoned and have been vandalized in the past. Now there is a black truck pulling a trailer at one of the houses. – Duwaine Chase responded.

10:04 p.m. – Information – In the vicinity of 4475 Rd. RP reported a call about smoke in the trees. – Jeff Neighbors and Mark Choate responded and advised it was a controlled burn.

08/08/2023

8:08 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 4770 Rd. RP reports need for a deputy to make contact with someone about an accident Saturday night and leaving a mess in someone’s yard. – Austin Blackfoot responded.

10:43 a.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of W. 8th St. RP reports a door has been open all day and no one is around. Not like the residents of the complex. Blakely Smith responded.

12:50 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – Lakeside RV Resort. RP would like to talk to a deputy about the repo process for an RV that is located within the county. – Brian Stone responded.

6:41 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of 4570 Rd. RP requested a deputy for an employee that had her car broken into and property stolen. – Brian Stone responded and took a report.

5:09 p.m. – Building Check – In the vicinity of 4707 Rd. RP advised one of his delivery drivers told him someone broke into their barn. RP is not on-site but would like a deputy to check it out. – Austin Blackfoot responded.

08/09/2023

12:08 a.m. – Prowler – In the vicinity of 1040 Rd. RP called and thought someone was walking around her property and homes. She said they heard the gate open and her son-in-law saw a light on the property. RP said her husband and son-in-law are out looking and she was concerned. – Jeff Neighbors responded.

11:45 a.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of 4497 Rd. RP wished for info on harassment and is seeking a protection order. Shelton Fair responded and took a report.’

3:14 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – Unknown location. RP advised that he received a phone call from his cousin and now cousin is saying she wants her phone back, even after RP advised he would pay for it. RP wanted a deputy to intervene. – Colton Goff and Galen Irvin responded.

3:22 p.m.- Property Dispute – Unknown location. RP advised that her cousin has her phone and will not give it back. RP is at the suspect’s residence trying to get the phone back and advised he is not cooperating and is yelling. – Galen Irvin responded.

7:23 p.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of 4530 Rd. RP reports that a lady is throwing rocks at her house. Suspect is wearing black pants and a black top, is barefoot and possibly Latino. – Charles Webber responded.

8:31 p.m. – Shooting Firearms – In the vicinity of McGuire Rd. RP reports that a neighbor is shooting a gun and is scaring her dog. – Allen Ramey responded.

8:37 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of 1040 Rd. RP reports that a male subject is standing at the stop sign wearing shorts, light colored shirt and has long hair. RP reports the male might have a gun. – Cody Parkerson responded.

11:44 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – Animal Clinic. Front door is possibly broken in. Allen Ramey responded.

08/10/2023

11:54 a.m. – 911 Call – In the vicinity of 1086 Rd. RP reports receiving a call from a female who advised she has tried to reach out and now has committed a murder. Then disconnected the call and turned her phone off. – Irvin Galen responded.

1:00 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 1086 Rd. RP advises she is having issues with a person who called 911 about a possible murder. – Irvin Galen responded.

6:37 p.m. – Building Check – In the vicinity of 1030 Rd, RP advises there is an abandoned house and the garage is open. Vian PD responded.

8:39 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of 1046 Rd. RP advised that someone has been driving past their house and has stopped in their driveway, and is now yelling and cursing at the RP. RP reports he wants to file a report and take out a protection order against the person. Dispatch advised the two parties to separate until the deputy arrived. – Cody Parkerson responded.

9:05 p.m. – In the vicinity of US-64B. RP has received a call from a disconnected number and background noise could be a disturbance. – Allen Ramey responded.

08/11/2023

9:54 a.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of 4517 Rd. RP reports that his neighbor’s house is not currently occupied by anyone, and there is a beat up truck in the drive. Deadbolts have been screwed out and there are tools everywhere. The RP did not want to make entry into the house just in case someone was there. RP called the previous homeowner, but not able to reach them. – Shane Petree responded.

10:28 a.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of 4606 Rd. RP reports that someone kicked her building and took a knife to her faucet, and it is now leaking. She requests a deputy to respond. – Brian Stone responded.

4:26 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of Shawntel Smith Blvd. RP advises that a suspicious male wearing a black T-shirt and short hair was banging on their door. He has walked all around the property now and is in her backyard. – Austin Blackfoot responded and make an arrest.

5:33 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of US-64. RP advises that they need to report a breaking and entering, and theft. She advised that she drove to work in Fort Smith, before noticing her vehicle had been broken into. RP advised she found a flashlight in the car and thought the deputies might be able to obtain fingerprints from it. – Justin Deuley responded.

11:19 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of 4760 Rd. RP stated there were individuals at his residence and they were intoxicated and causing problems. He wants them to leave but believes their vehicle might be broken down. – Jeff Neighbors responded.

08/12/2023

12:03A a.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of 1120 Rd. RP advised that she saw a male subject walking up the dirt road by her house and felt his appearance and manner should be investigated. – Justin Deuley responded.

8:20 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – Unknown location. RP wants to speak with deputy in reference to someone leaving their belongings at his residence and it’s been over 20 days. – Shane Petree responded.

10:10 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 1086 Rd. RP wants to speak with a deputy about obtaining a protective order against ex-girlfriend. – Austin Blackfoot responded.

12:15 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – Sheriff’s Office. RP advises she is at the SCSO and would like to speak with a deputy. – Brian Stone responded.

12:47 p.m. – In the vicinity of 1026 Rd. RP advised that his ex-girlfriend just came and stole his dog. – Shane Petree responded.

4:50 p.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of Hwy 101. RP advises a subject is trying to serve her with papers and now the subject is contacting her. She would like a deputy to help. – Shane Petree responded.

6:10 p.m. – Disturbance – Joyce’s Produce. RP called and advised of possible disturbance by the store. RP observed a female in a gold Jeep yelling at RP. The subject then got into her vehicle and drove off. Justin Deuley responded.

7:55 p.m. – Drugs – In the vicinity of 996 Rd. RP called and advised that she has been away from her home for about a month. Upon returning she found some drug-related items and would like a deputy to respond as she does not want to touch it. – Justin Deuley responded.

08/13/2023

7:42 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 4786 Rd. RP wants to speak with a deputy about getting items back from a residence. – Austin Blackfoot responded.

11:20 a.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of 4497 Rd. RP would like to speak with a deputy about on-going harassment. She advised suspects were posting negative things about her on social media. – Shane Petree responded.

11:37 a.m. – Threats – Unknown location in Vian. RP reports a family member lives near Vian and RP’s ex-husband has been staying at the residence and is now threatening the family member. Suspect is known to sometimes carry a firearm. Dispatch was unable to make contact with family member or suspect. – Shane Petree responded.

1:27 p.m. – Suspicious Person – I-40 MM 312. RP reports a thin man pushing a Walmart shopping cart eastbound on I-40, looks unwell. – Brian Stone responded.

4:20 p.m. – Suspicious Person – US-64. RP reports having received a call about a male that is sitting on her porch, she does not know who the person is. – Brian Stone responded.

5:45 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of 1056 Rd. RP reports someone is on a neighboring property and is attempting to steal a backhoe. RP is unsure if this is the owner or not. – Austin Blackfox responded.

9:14 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of 4705 Rd. RP advised that a male came by yesterday and wanted to buy rims and tires from RP. Suspect said he would return but never came back. RP advises that when he woke up today the rims and tires are gone and believes the male from yesterday may have taken them. Suspect might live a few houses away. – Jeff Neighbors responded.
