Both teams will have a full team — seven Lady Black Diamonds and six Black Diamonds — run this season. Five are needed to score team points, with the sixth runner used in score tiebreakers.
The Lady Black Diamonds return two runners — Molly Carver and Haley Birdtail — who ran in the Class 4A Regional Meet last October. They will be joined by Jazmyne Wright, Nicci Davis, Kali Crowe, Michelle Loudon and Zurri Knight.
The boys roster is comprised of Jorge Thomason, Dawson Glover, Brecken Henessee, Jonas Reid, Jackson Jiles and Ethan Wilhite.
The Lady Black Diamonds and Black Diamonds will get to host their first-ever home meet Sept. 23 on their home course which is behind the softball and baseball fields and Paul Post Fieldhouse.
