Residents celebrate Elvis Week

Hello again and welcome to another edition of our news. We are currently enjoying some lovely weather and, oh, how we wish we could keep the sunshine and 85. But for now, we will sit outside and soak up the sun for as long as this great weather lasts.

This is Elvis Week, so we have been watching Elvis movies daily to celebrate. They all love Elvis. It was also National S’mores Day, so we made s’mores to eat while we watched movies. They were so yummy, but oh so messy. S’mores and Elvis it doesn’t get any better than that.

We also have Randy Waters and Gerry Baze scheduled to play and sing. We always enjoy our live music and of course we have several that sing along and dance. It’s a great time for all.

We will finish off the week with relaxation day with pedicures, tie-dying with Kristie, bingo, balloon swat and we always have a puzzle or two on the tables that the ladies enjoy working on. We are still putting our Senior Olympic team together and will start practices next week. We plan on bringing home some gold medals.
