Tickets on sale for Calliope quilt

Tickets for a “Calliope Queen” quilt made by Reba Luce, left, are currently for sale at the Senior Nutrition Center in Sallisaw. Tickets may be purchased for $2 each or three for $5, with proceeds benefitting the Senior Nutrition Council, Sue Mott, right, treasurer, said. Mott said monies collected are used to purchase items which can not be purchased through regular funds used for the nutrition center. The drawing for the winner of the quilt will be held on Nov. 1. Anyone wishing to purchase a ticket may call 918-208-2781 or 918-7756855 or go by the Senior Nutrition Center located at 115 W. Redwood.
