08/28/23 to 09/04/23

During the week of August 28 through September 4, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 20 animal calls, 173 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

08/28/2023

1:53 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 4525 Loop. RP would like to speak with a deputy regarding property rights and laws. Justin Deuley responded.

2:39 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – SCSO. RP would like to document a fellow employee who is sending odd messages. Shelton Fair took a report.

4:13 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 1075 Rd. RP would like to find out if they can do anything about their neighbor screaming profanities while RP’s children are playing outside. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

4:27 p.m. – Property Dispute – In the vicinity of Hwy. 59. RP advises he is going through a separation and his ex-wife came today and took a pistol they jointly owned. He would like to file a report. Daniel Whitus responded.

5:28 p.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of 4530 Rd. RP wants to speak to a deputy about someone cussing at her. Charles Webber responded.

6:44 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of Old Hwy. 64. RP advises someone broke into her home through a window and stole her bed and two side tables. Allen Ramey responded.

8:38 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of Hwy. 59. RP advises his wife is in their driveway in her Hyundai SUV and refusing to leave. He stated they are separated and she is angry and is trying to talk to him, but she seems angry and he wants her to leave. Dispatch advised that this is a civil matter.

8:59 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of Hwy. 64B. RP advises that on the road near her property there is someone “creeping around.” RP states that the person seems to be someone she has had trespassed from her property over animal issues, and would like him to leave the area. RP was too upset to provide details or further information to dispatch. Dispatch noted this incident.

08/29/2023

8:16 a.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of Mountain View Dr. RP advises they have a vacation home in the area and are having the house painted. Upon the painter arriving this morning, they found that the door to the guest house and storage shed was open. Justin Deuley responded.

11:14 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Church north of Vian. RP advises that they would like to speak with a deputy about putting up two male subjects in a motel. Vian PD responded.

12:38 p.m. – Trespassing – Fin and Feather. RP reports a couple of guys in the parking lot, owner has recently had them trespassed and subjects may have assaulted RP in the past. Justin Deuley responded.

12:41 p.m. – Information – Hwy. 59. RP is a congregation member of a church that recently had a break-in. RP would like to document the incident on behalf of the church. Shelton Fair took a report.

1:04 p.m. – Speak with Deputy Unknown location. RP advises she has ongoing issues with neighbors and will have to “end up going to the news” if she does not get the help with them that she is asking for. Justin Deuley responded but could not make contact with RP.

4:03 p.m. – Speak with Deputy SCSO. Female approached the SCSO to report something but will not give further information. Michelle Rigsby took a report.

4:48 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 4720 Rd. RP advises her cousin shows up to her residence, cusses at her and is threatening daughter. He is not on the property now but RP would like him trespassed. Galen Irvin responded.

4:54 p.m. – Disturbance – Garden Walk. RP advises that there is a girl living in the complex who is hateful towards RP’s children and telling them that they cannot play in certain areas. RP would like deputy to respond. Vian PD responded.

7:38 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle – In the vicinity of 1056 Rd. RP advises this is their second time calling. RP allowed someone to take their car last Monday, but gave RP no phone number. RP would like Roland PD to locate and return her car. Cody Parkerson took a report.

7:59 p.m. – Information – Unknown location. RP would like to obtain permission for her juvenile sons to shoot guns in the park. Vian PD responded.

08/30/2023

7:30 a.m. – Other – Dollar General. RP reports someone is on the property asking people for money. RP would like them removed. C.J. McGee responded.

8:43 a.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of 4594 Rd. RP advises that her property was taken from her mother’s home. Shane Petree responded.

8:52 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Dollar General. RP advises that they called earlier about someone asking people for money on the property. The person is back and asking customers for money again. C.J. McGee responded.

9:13 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of Moonshine Rd. RP would like to report her juvenile son had a knife in his backpack and told her he wants to protect himself at school. She believes it might be for protection against people who live in their woods and steal from RP. She states in the past they have taken money, meat and other items from her property. RP would like advice on what to tell her son and have a deputy explain to him why he cant take a knife to school for protection. Shane Petree responded.

2:11 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – Akins. RP advises that there are some dogs getting into her trash and would like to know what rights she has. Brian Stone responded.

4:23 p.m. – Speak with Deputy Hwy. 64. RP would like to have a deputy speak to his neighbors about driving too fast on the street. Brian Stone responded.

4:37 p.m. – Assistance – Hwy. 59. RP reports juvenile son is walking down the highway and RP is following in car. Their son refuses to get into their car and RP would like deputy to intervene. Brian Stone responded.

6:14 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – Unknown location. RP was trespassed from her mother’s property. RP states that the home is in her name and the mother has been living in the home for awhile. RP would like to know why she was trespassed. Michelle Rigsby responded.

7:36 p.m. – Trespassing – Dollar General. RP reports that someone is in their parking lot and they would like them removed. Jeff Neighbors responded.

8:43 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 4497 Rd. RP advises she has a PO against someone who is now near their barn. She stated a judge has told her that the person should not be near her property. She would like to report this but is requesting a specific deputy before she makes a report. Mark Choate responded.

08/31/2023

8:36 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Unknown location. RP advises that her children’s father has possibly allowed a registered sex offender around her children and would like to know what can be done. Vian PD took a report.

10:43 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 1095 Rd. RP would like to find out what can be done about her neighbor’s dogs being vicious against her. Brian Stone responded.

11:06 a.m. – Information – In the vicinity of 1120 Rd. RP would like to speak to someone about neighbors piling up tree limbs and shavings on her property. RP feels it might be a fire hazard. Shane Petree responded.

11:08 a.m. – Stolen Property – Hwy. 141. RP reports that they are a home health nurse and someone stole their money. Brian Stone responded.

7:39 p.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of 4753 Rd. RP advises that his neighbor is harassing him and RP has posted signs, and suspect has put trash in their pond. Jeff Neighbors responded.

9:56 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of Sequoyah St. RP advises that his girlfriend has stolen money from his bank account. Vian PD responded.

09/01/2023

5:11 a.m. – Stolen Vehicle – In the vicinity of 4770 Rd. RP reports that his mother is using his grandmother’s vehicle without permission. Galen Irvin responded.

10:06 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of Sutherland Rd. RP advises daughter’s boyfriend is in RP’s house with a gun. RP hung up on dispatch and dispatch called back, and advised him to leave the house. RP stated he did not want deputies involved and would call if he needed help. Daniel Whitus responded.

10:20 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Unknown location. RP would like to know about legal aspects. He has paid his rent but his daughter is kicking him out. Daniel Whitus responded.

1:03 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of 4606 Rd. RP advised that someone is trying to break into their home. RP has health issues and needs help. Justin Deuley responded.

6:00 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of 4711 Rd. RP advises that three men had just shot her dog. Her husband went to find them and she has no idea where he is. Cody Parkerson responded.

7:33 p.m. – Noise Complaint – In the vicinity of 1120 Rd. RP advises there is loud music coming from a trailer near their home. Information was passed to Muldrow PD for request of extra patrol.

11:35 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of Hwy. 64. RP called and advised that there are lights turned on in a vacant home she owned. Her husband was going to investigate and she would like a deputy to assist. Charles Webber responded.

11:38 p.m. – Suspicious Person The Wolfe. RP advises there is a person in a vehicle pulling an ATV who is acting suspicious. Allen Ramey responded.

09/02/2023

11:55 a.m. – Property Dispute In the vicinity of 4770 Rd. RP advises that his mother has his grandmother’s phone without permission. Galen Irvin responded.

1:28 p.m. – Assist – In the vicinity of 4593 Rd. RP advises that they found a checkbook and would like to a deputy to help notify the owner. Daniel Whitus responded.

2:12 p.m. – Vandalism – Strayhorn Landing. RP advises that his boat was docked and the speaker has been torn out and there are other missing parts. Justin Deuley responded.

2:57 p.m. – Information – Unknown location. RP advised that her adult daughter is moving out of her apartment and the roommates are causing issues. RP would like to have a deputy meet them on moving day for protection. Vian PD took the information.

4:11 p.m. – Information – In the vicinity of 4595 Rd. RP states she has been trespassed out of her house that her mother lives in and would like help getting her property. RP advises she does not understand how she can get trespassed from her own property, and advises her mother just lives there. Daniel Whitus responded.

4:56 p.m. – Shooting Firearms – In the vicinity of Hwy. 59. RP states he can hear gunshots close to his home and thought he saw someone walking in his field. Justin Deuley responded.

5:17 p.m. – Information – In the vicinity of 4711 Rd. RP advises they called yesterday because someone shot their dog. RP states that deputies went to speak with the suspect and today the woods behind their house is on fire. RP is demanding to speak with Sheriff Lane. Dispatch advised RP that Sheriff Lane is busy and passed information on to fire. Sheriff Lane responded.

7:55 p.m. – Shooting Firearms – In the vicinity of 990 Rd. RP advises his neighbor is shooting a high power gun and it is after dark. Charles Webber responded.

10:50 p.m. – Disturbance – Stone Creek Bend. RP advises there is a male subject who is intoxicated and trying to fight people. Allen Ramey responded.

09/03/2023

3:22 a.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of 4616 Rd. RP advises there is a female at his residence trying to take property that RP has a mechanical lien on. He would like her trespassed. Charles Webber responded but could not contact suspect.

7:19 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle Muldrow Bottoms. RP advised there was a blue Trailblazer SUV with hood up and the doors open near the dam. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

7:21 a.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of 953 Rd. RP advises that her former neighbors are continuing to harass her and her family. Justin Deuley responded.

11:36 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 4621 Rd. RP advises she has been catfished by a man requesting money from her. She believers he is doing illegal things with the money she gave him and would like to speak to a deputy. Daniel Whitus responded.

1:13 p.m. – Report – In the vicinity of Hwy. 59 Loop. RP advised a newer black truck drove through the area and threw a beer out of the window. RP is not sure if there are others in the vehicle. Daniel Whitus responded but could not make contact.

1:54 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of 4770 Rd. RP advises that his mother is throwing things and yelling at the family. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

3:33 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Marval. RP advises that he is hearing a lot of gunshots in the area. RP was argumentative with dispatch and would not give further information. Dispatch noted the information.

4:35 p.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of Mayfield Dr. RP states that she is receiving texts from someone that she does not know. The person continues texting her and cussing at her. Vian PD responded and took a report.

7:26 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of 968 Rd. RP advises that his aunt called him and has been argumentative. Suspect has left but possibly shot a gun down the road. Allen Ramey responded.

9:15 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle – In the vicinity of 4749 Rd. RP advises that her grandson has taken a vehicle without permission while she was asleep. RP wants to press charges. Allen Ramey responded and made an arrest.

09/04/2023

9:43 a.m. – Welfare Check – Unknown location. RP advises she received a call from her daughter’s boyfriend saying that the daughter was dead at a funeral home. Dispatch contacted daughter and found her alive and well. Daughter will contact mother.

1:09 p.m. – Disturbance – Unknown location. RP advises her juvenile daughter has spat in her face and RP would like the SCSO to respond. C.J. McGee responded.

4:44 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle – Moonshine. RP advises that there is a vehicle on their property and they believe the vehicle is stolen. Shane Petree responded.

4:46 p.m. – Speak with Deputy Hwy. 64B. RP requests information about how far away from the street they need to be to fire a gun. Allen Ramey responded.

6:49 p.m. – Speak with Deputy Garden Walk. RP advised that he made a report through Muldrow PD last night about someone posting false allegations about him on FB. He stated that Muldrow PD advised him there is nothing they can do and RP would like to find out if SCSO can do anything. Allen Ramey responded.

8:02 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 4729 Rd. RP is requesting to speak to a deputy about an incident that occurred earlier in the day. No further details provided.

8:07 p.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of 1028 Rd. RP advises that someone has flipped her husband’s car over and it’s badly damaged. She will be waiting at driveway to meet deputies. Justin Deuley responded.

8:46 p.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of 4620 Rd. RP advises that someone is staying in the RP’s RV and is taking her things from it. RP’s husband just checked the RV and suspect is not there. Justin Deuley responded.

9:15 p.m. – Harassment – Unknown location. RP would like information about how to press charges against his brother-inlaw who RP believes is harassing his sister (suspect’s wife) and who may have a warrant. Mark Choate responded.

9:46 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of 4580 Rd. RP states there is a male in their yard by the dumpsters and they want him removed. Suspect may have left or could be behind their house. Mark Choate responded.

10:09 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of 4497 Rd. RP advises that her horse went missing (or was stolen) today and would like to make a report. Earlier today a deputy made contact with RP and told her to post this on FB and if it does not turn up, RP can file a report. RP would like to file a report anyways. Justin Deuley responded.
