Sallisaw Cheer Night slated for home game vs. Tahlequah

The Sallisaw Cheer Night will take place at 6:30 p.m. next Friday night at Perry F. Lattimore Stadium prior to the Black Diamonds’ home game vs. the Tahlequah Tigers. Mini cheerleaders need to arrive at 6 p.m.

On Aug. 26, the 33rd annual Sallisaw High School Mini Cheer Clinic took place in which there were 136 mini cheerleaders, who spent that day learning cheers, jumps and tumbling skills and a dance. The clinic ended with a show off performances, and a Happy Meal was provided by McDonald’s for each mini cheerleader.
