WELEETKA — The Webbers Falls Lady Warriors saw their 2023 fast-pitch softball season come to a close Thursday with two losses in the Class A District Tournament at Weleetka, losing 16-0 to Empire after losing to the host Lady Outlaws (no score was available at press time).

The Lady Warriors finish the season at 2-14.

In the district-tournament loss to Empire, the Lady Bulldogs (26-5), who will advance to this week’s Class A Regional Tournament, scored three runs in the first inning, four runs in the second inning and twice in the third inning for a 9-0 lead after three innings.
