Chapter challenge is to write down what you eat

By Billie Anthony

Monday, eleven ladies weighed in. We had a net loss of 2.1 pounds and Brenda had the best weight loss of 3.1 pounds. Our chapter challenge is to write down what we eat. Our Two Bit Bowl winner was Mary, yay! Our Ladder contest is going great. We have eight ladies on the ladder. Five ribbons were removed from the Surprise Box. All the ladies did a great job this week and those that gained had small gains. We can beat our net loss next week! I challenged the ladies last week to clear their clutter and bring one item they can live without. The items that were brought will be used for next month’s chapter fun day for our Bingo game.

Today for our monthly fun day, I gave the ladies a challenge. The last weigh in of the month we do something fun, either playing a game, having a craft program or just sit and visit with each other. Today we gathered around one of the round tables and played a game for shaky hands…we played Jenga! It was a lot of fun to watch the ladies push out the block of their choice without knocking the stack down. With this game we learned those that were cautious and those that were risk takers. There were three ladies that were risk takers, Shirley, Phyllis and me. We had a lot of oohs and ahs with some of the moves that were made. We had a good time.

We closed our meeting with the TOPS Pledge.

EVERYONE is invited to visit. The FIRST VISIT is FREE. It cost $49 a year to join TOPS Club INC. We meet at First Christian Church, 706 N Wheeler, Sallisaw, Monday at 10:30am-12pm. We begin weighing at 10:30am and the meeting starts at 11am and ends at 12. For more info, please call Billie at 918/413-1383. We look forward to meeting you.
