During the week of Sept. 18- 24, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 15 animal calls, 103 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

09/18/2023

8:10 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Unknown location. RP advised she and her ex-husband have recently relocated here and separated and he took the children with him to Vian. RP would like to find out how to get her children returned. Shane Petree responded.

9:36 a.m. – Altercation – In the vicinity of 4650 Rd. RP advised that he had charges to his CC that he did not make. Shelton Fair responded and took a report.

11:34 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 4729 Rd. RP advised that someone is on their property and should not be there. RP thinks the suspect may have taken medication from the home. Galen Irvin responded.

12:31 p.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of Sanders St. RP was advised by a neighbor that there are four to five people in their home and no one should be at the residence. Vian PD responded.

2:01 p.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of 1040 Rd. Muldrow Campus security was holding a trespasser in the office and needed SCSO to formally trespass the individual. C.J. McGee responded.

4:19 p.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of 4565 Rd. RP reports that their uncle has been on their property cursing at their children. Shane Petree responded.

4:38 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of 1040 Rd. RP advises that someone is standing on the shared property line screaming at them. RP feels there might be an unserved PO for the suspect. C.J. McGee responded.

4:37 p.m. – Threats – Blue Mouse. RP advises she is at the Muldrow PD needing to file reports of threats, but lives in the county. Jeff Neighbors responded.

7:43 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of Morse St. RP states there is a male suspect outside yelling he wants to kill himself and revving his truck engine. Mark Choate responded.

8:27 p.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of Suzanne St. Reports of a male walking through a field. Property owner asked him to leave but he refused to. Vian PD responded.

11:01 p.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of 4675 Rd. RP called and advised that her daughter was caught with a boy, and the daughter is now accusing her father of hitting her. Daughter also has a friend driving by the residence playing loud music. Jeff Neighbors responded.

09/19/2023

12:45 p.m. – Speak with Deputy Unknown location. RP wants to know if anything can be done to stop someone from jumping in front of cars on the street and yelling at her. Shane Petree responded.

12:48 p.m.- Speak with Deputy – Unknown location. RP would like to talk to someone about a suspect violating a PO and driving past his house yelling. Shane Petree responded.

1:57 p.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of 4474 Rd. RP advises that someone busted his truck window the prior night. Michelle Rigsby responded.

4:36 p.m. – Suspicious Person Unknown location. RP reports a woman with a basket has gone into an abandoned building and is now pulling out bags from the basket. Vian PD responded.

5:01 p.m. – Suspicious Person – Dwight Mission. RP reports there is a male wearing black shorts who refuses to identify himself, throwing up in the driveway. Michelle Rigsby responded.

8:12 p.m. – Information – Unknown location. RP advises that he has returned a glock pistol to the owner. Jeff Neighbors responded and documented the incident.

10:54 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – Hwy 82. RP advises there is an abandoned vehicle in the middle of Hwy. 82. Mark Choate responded.

09/20/2023

11:16 a.m. – Threats – In the vicinity of 4758 Rd. RP advises that his neighbors’ dogs have been attacking his chickens. Today, the RP shot the dog and now the neighbor is upset and threatening him. Galen Irvin responded.

1:16 p.m. – Assault – In the vicinity of Seminole Rd. RP advises that a suspect entered their home and hit his mother with a stick. Marble City responded.

3:18 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 990 Rd. RP would like to report someone using her name to make fake Facebook accounts. Suspect is slandering RP, and RP would like to have a deputy investigate, but the deputy should call before showing up as RP’s children are at home. Justin Deuley responded.

4:19 p.m. – Threats – In the vicinity of 1040 Rd. RP says that someone is in his yard and is making threats against him. RP is inside his home, with the doors locked. Justin Deuley responded.

5:55 p.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of Deer Run Rd. RP states their vehicle was vandalized by neighbors. He stated that they have thrown bologna all over the back of his truck. Allen Ramey responded.

6:25 p.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of Suzanne St. RP reports that there is a man walking through his yard. Vian PD responded.

6:30 p.m. – Speak with Deputy -In the vicinity of Dwight Mission Rd. RP would like info about how to obtain property for his mom’s ex-husband’s house. Cody Parkerson responded.

09/21/2023

9:48 a.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of S. Kerr Blvd. RP’s son and daughter-in-law are staying at his house. RP reports that the daughter-in-law is trying to leave to someone’s house to do drugs, and is going to said house. When the daughter-inlaw got there, no one was home and picked the lock. RP would like to report this. Galen Irvin responded.

12:21 p.m. – Suspicious Person – Dollar General. RP reports a couple with backpacks trying to flag down delivery drivers. Galen Irvin responded.

12:50 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of Lee St. RP advised that her house has been burglarized and things taken. Justin Deuley responded.

3:47 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – Love’s. RP would like to let SCSO know that her 2003 Cadillac will be parked in Love’s parking lot until she can get to it. Vian PD noted this information.

3:50 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – In the vicinity of 1060 Rd. RP advises someone is presently breaking into her home. Galen Irvin responded.

6:24 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafely – In the vicinity of 4696 Rd. RP advises her neighbors are on her property shooting guns. Cody Parkerson responded.

6:53 p.m. – Disturbance – Garden Walk. RP advises there is a male having an altercation with a female. Vian PD responded.

7:14 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of 4762 Rd. RP advises that there is a male standing in the middle of the road waving his arms and nearly causing an accident. Cody Parkerson responded and made an arrest.

7:50 p.m. – Information – I-40 at MM 325. RP reports that she is fleeing from a DV situation that happened in Alabama. RP is trying to get to OKC and is walking on I-40. She reports that she is “just wanting to get out of the county.” SCSO picked up the RP and took her to the Cherokee Nation Human Services.

8:53 p.m. – Breaking and Entering – Love’s. RP is requesting to speak to a deputy, RP believes that someone might have been breaking into area homes. Charles Webber responded.

09/22/2023

4:41 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafely – In the vicinity of Pump Station Rd. RP advises that she can hear people shooting firearms near her home. She believes the person who might be shooting is barred from owning guns. Shane Petree responded.

5:25 p.m. – Disturbing the Peace – Unknown location. RP advises that their neighbors are playing music too loud. Jeff Neighbors responded.

6:25 p.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of 1023 Rd. RP stated her dog has been missing and she received FB messages from someone saying he has her dog and will not be returning it. Mark Choate responded.

8:19 p.m. – Information – Marble City. RP advised a vehicle has driven past her house and shot a gun, and would like to know her rights. Michelle Rigsby responded.

8:30 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafely – In the vicinity of 960 Rd. RP reports he hears gunshots from someone near his home. Jimmy Carson responded.

09/23/2023

12:53 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – In the vicinity of 1060 Rd. RP advises that there are two vehicles parked across the street. Jeff Neighbors responded.

8:31 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of 4497 Rd. RP advises her horse has been missing for over two months and she now believes it was stolen by her neighbor. RP reports that the neighbors have been investigating and monitoring and they have narrowed the thief down to a suspect. Shane Petree responded and took a report.

9:20 a.m. – Speak with Deputy In the vicinity of Schley St. RP advice that her father has been granted three vehicles in a court case and she has been advised by her attorney to have a deputy go with her to retrieve said vehicles. RP would like to note that she did not like the way Vian PD handled her request last time she called, and during the court proceedings. Shane Petree responded.

9:50 a.m. – Disturbance – El Siesta. RP reports there is a male suspect yelling at employees and has busted a window in the office. Vian PD responded.

10:37 a.m. – Speak with Deputy In the vicinity of Lee St. RP said that his parents showed up to his house and are trying to take a vehicle. RP feels like he is being taken advantage of and needs a deputy. Shane Petree responded.

2:33 p.m. – Property Dispute Central HS. RP advises that she stored some furniture at her aunt’s house in the area of Central HS and now the aunt will not allow her to retrieve the items. Michelle Rigsby responded.

4:19 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle – Unknown location. RP is a representative from Sirius XM and they have received a report of a stolen vehicle traveling through the area. Michelle Rigsby responded.

5:34 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle Harps. RP called to make known there is a Ford car “brake checking” people on the street. Vian PD responded but the vehicle was gone.

9:48 a.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of 1094 Rd. RP advises that someone keeps sending him messages, harassing him about a dog. RP believes the person might have been a convicted felon and RP was allegedly sent an audio clip of the suspect shooting a gun. Herb Hutchinson responded.

09/24/2023

5:00 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – In the vicinity of 4616 Rd. RP called and advised there was a vehicle sitting on the side of the road unoccupied, with Cherokee plates. Cherokee Nation Marshal Services responded.

9:26 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Hwy 59. RP would like to find out information about someone who was arrested on their property last night. The RP no longer wants the person (who lives with RP) to return to the house. Shane Petree responded.

1:25 p.m. – Suspicious Person Love’s. RP advises that there is a male in the bathroom at Love’s and is taking photos of young boys in the bathroom. CJ Mc Gee responded but the suspect had already left.

1:37 p.m. – Other – Angel’s Dog Salon. RP is at the salon to collect her dog, but no one is answering the door. RP would like a deputy to help. Vian PD responded.

1:54 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – Sequoyah Little Farms. RP says that a deputy was at her house to talk to her son, and she would like to get some questions answered about why they were at the house. Shane Petree responded.

4:29 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of 1120 Rd. RP states that they just returned to her residence and there was no electricity. She went outside to investigate and there are a pair of bolt cutters on the ground and her generator is missing. Jeff Neighbors responded.

6:49 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of 4655 Rd. RP states there is someone across the road in an abandoned shed, and there are now several vehicles in the road. RP believes two males may have hopped over the fence. Mark Choate responded.

8:19 p.m. – Other – Unknown location. RP wants to inquire about filing a missing person report on her husband. RP states they had an altercation earlier in the day, and he has left taking their computer, phone and a watch. Jeff Neighbors responded.

8:35 p.m. – Complaint – In the vicinity of 4492 Rd. RP can hear people fighting in the vicinity of her home. Jimmy Carson responded.
