2nd loss to Dewey ends softball season for Lady Bulldogs
MIAMI, Okla. — A second 10-0 loss to the Dewey Lady Bulldoggers in the Class 4A Regional Tournament on Thursday afternoon ended the 2023 fast-pitch softball season for the Muldrow Lady Bulldogs, who end the season at 11-16.
MIAMI, Okla. — A second 10-0 loss to the Dewey Lady Bulldoggers in the Class 4A Regional Tournament on Thursday afternoon ended the 2023 fast-pitch softball season for the Muldrow Lady Bulldogs, who end the season at 11-16.
In Thursday’s 10-0 loss to Dewey, the Lady Bulldoggers scored once in the first inning and three runs in the third inning for a 4-0 lead, then scored six runs in the sixth inning to put the game into run-rule status.
Just like in Wednesday’s 10-0 loss to the Lady Bulldoggers, Dewey pitcher Reagan White once again baffled Muldrow hitters, throwing a four-hitter with seven Ks.
In defeat, Jaydin Dean, Ashley Price, Amaya Duran and Kaira Qualls each singled for Muldrow’s four hits. Kaydence Young took the loss, despite recording four strikeouts in 5.2 innings.
