3 Cowgirl basketball games to be among Big 12 on TV

STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State Cowgirls basketball team will have three games among those selected for television coverage for the 2023-24 Big 12 women’s basketball season it was announced Tuesday.

STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State Cowgirls basketball team will have three games among those selected for television coverage for the 2023-24 Big 12 women’s basketball season it was announced Tuesday.

The Cowgirls’ home contest against Baylor on Jan. 28 will take place at 1 p.m. and will be carried on ESPNU.

OSU will travel to Oklahoma for Bedlam on Feb. 24 for a 1 p.m. contest on FOX. The Bedlam Series battle is one of three Big 12 games slated to appear on national broadcast networks, the most in conference history.

The Cowgirls’ regular-season finale at Baylor on March 3 will tip at 11 a.m. and will be televised on ESPN2.

OSU women’s basketball coach Jacie Hoyt’s squad is coming off a 21-12 campaign a year ago that saw the Cowgirls reach the NCAA Tournament. OSU will begin its second season under her direction on Oct. 31 with an exhibition contest against Oklahoma Christian University of Science and Arts at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.
