Lady Diamonds JH cross country runners place at state meet

CHICKASHA — The Sallisaw Lady Diamonds junior high cross country team finished in 14th place at the Junior High All-Star State Meet, which took place Thursday at Chickasha Sports Complex.

The Lady Diamonds scored 405 points as a team in Thursday’s 1.5mile race.

The fastest Sallisaw runner was Emily Coury, who placed 84th with a time of 11:45.

Molli Blount was 111th (12:26), Natalie Flute was 117th (12:44), Daisy Reid was 120th (12:51), Ellieanne Coury was 121st (12:52) and Haley Callahan was 128th (14:08).
