Golden Hurricane downs Oklahoma Christian in exhibition game
TULSA –– Cobe Williams scored 22 points to lead the new look Tulsa Golden Hurricane basketball team to a 74-60 win over Oklahoma Christian University on Wednesday night at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa’s only exhibition game.

Tulsa improved its career record in exhibition games to 70-2 with the victory.
Tulsa held an eight-point lead at halftime while leading by as many 10 points twice in the first 20 minutes. In the second half, the Hurricane took its first double-digit lead at the 17:17 mark on a P.J. Haggerty 3-pointer for a 40-28 advantage. Tulsa had a double-digit lead through most of the second half, leading by as many as 16 points at the 13:16 mark.
Tulsa opens the regular season Monday at home against the Central Arkansas Bears. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.
