Think on these things

By Joyce Sequichie Hifler

Never quit - even though it seems easier. Keep going. To all outward appearances, it may seem we are down to stay, but we do not walk by sight, we walk by faith.

Never quit – even though it seems easier. Keep going. To all outward appearances, it may seem we are down to stay, but we do not walk by sight, we walk by faith.

Self pity is a high-priced emotion that leaves us spent beyond belief. Deny it. Find a different thought, but speak carefully. Thoughts and words can be the holes in our pockets that let life sift out like sand. Take a stand against suggestions that maybe this is the way things are supposed to be. Such thought is pure propaganda and nonsense. We are supposed to win!

Challenges come. They come to those with great potential to overcome. They come to test our determination and our grit. But they are so much hot air when we put them to the test.

Like a bloated balloon touched by a pin they turn flabby and fall without even a sigh.
