Vian’s Burnin’ Down Main Street car show, burn out will have $2,500 in cash payouts
Vian’s 6th annual Burnin’ Dwn Main Street, featuring a car show and burn out competition is set for Saturday, Nov. 4, in downtown Vian at the Anna Belle Farmer Park.
Vian’s sixth annual Burnin’ Down Main Street, featuring a car show and burn out competition is set for Saturday, Nov. 4, in downtown Vian at the Anna Belle Farmer Park.
This year’s event is hosted once again by B&B Auto and Vian Wheel and Tire, with $2,500 in cash payouts.
Registration for the car show will begin at 12 noon and registration fee is $20. Judging will take place at 3 p.m. The car show will pay out $500 to Best in Show, and will also include more class pay outs.
Registration fee for the burnout competition is $20, with the event starting at 4:30 p.m. Early registration is encouraged. Burn out prizes will be based on the top average score of two runs with $1,000 going to first place, $500 to second, and $300 to third.
The band Mule Kick will also be providing live entertainment during the event.
As in past years, a portion of the proceeds from the day are donated back to a local organization or project in need.
