Crawford has career day in Tulsa’s basketball season-opening win over Lindenwood

CHARLES, Mo. — Delanie Crawford led a trio of Hurricane women — who combined for 81 points in the Tulsa women’s basketball team’s 8980 season-opening win over the Lindenwood Lions — with a career-high 35 points, the secondmost all-time in a game for TU behind Jillian Robbins’ 38 points against Nevada-Reno in 2005 and Kendrian Elliott’s 38 points versus Arkansas State in 2019.

Temira Poindexter (28 points) and Katia Gallegos (18 points) contributed 46 points during the game. With Crawford, the group went 27-46 shooting for a field goal percentage of 58.7 percent.
Tulsa’s home opener will tip-off at 11 a.m. Friday at the Donald W. Reynolds Center as the Golden Hurricane will take on the New Orleans Privateers.
