Golden Eagles end regular season by shutting out Nebraska-Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. — The Oral Roberts University men’s soccer team closed out the regular season with a 3-0 Summit Conference road victory over the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks on Saturday afternoon at Caniglia Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Golden Eagles (103-3 overall, 5-1-2 in conference play) got three goals in the second half — one apiece by Luis Flores, Reed Berry and Shane Anderson.

The Golden Eagles will get a rematch with the Mavericks (6-7-4, 3-3-2) in the Summit Conference Tournament semifinals at 7 p.m. Thursday at Case Soccer Complex in Tulsa.
