The Razorbacks (3-6 overall, 1-5 in SEC play) forced overtime on Cam Little’s 49-yard field goal — his fourth on the day — with 44 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 33.
After the Gators (5-4, 3-3) were held to a field goal on their first OT possession, the Hogs responded with a touchdown when K.J. Jefferson connected with Tyrone Broden in the end zone on a 4-yard TD pass.
The Razorbacks took an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter on Jefferson’s 8-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Green and Jaylon Braxton’s 33-yard fumble recovery return for a TD — both capped by Little’s extra points — by the 11:54 mark of the opening period, but the Gators then scored two touchdowns to get the game tied at 14-all going into the second quarter.
The second period saw a pair of field goals hit, with Little’s attempt connecting from 37 yards away, to keep the game tied at halftime at 17-all.
Little’s 41-yard field goal put Arkansas ahead 20-17 with 10:34 left in the third quarter, but Florida took a 23-20 lead into the fourth quarter.
Little’s third field goal of the game from 22 yards out with 12:54 left in the game got the game tied at 23-all.
After a Florida field goal put the Gators ahead at 26-23 with 7:58 remaining in regulation, Jefferson’s 25-yard TD run and Little’s PAT regained the lead for Arkansas at 30-26 with 4:26 left in the game.
The Gators regained the advantage at 33-30 on a 26-yard touchdown run with 3:02 remaining in the game, setting up the game-trying drive for the Hogs that ended with Little’s fourth field goal of the game to force OT, tied at 33-all.
