OSU is coming off a 41-20 season that included a shared Big 12 regular season championship as well as the program’s 10th consecutive NCAA regional appearance. Led by All-American Nolan Schubart and two-way star Carson Benge, the Pokes return five starters from last season’s ballclub in 2024.
The Cowboys will start the season with eight games in the state of Texas. On opening weekend, OSU will play three games at Sam Houston State on Feb. 1618 before moving to Arlington for four games.
OSU will take on Abilene Christian on Feb. 21 at Globe Life Field before remaining at the home of the Texas Rangers for a weekend tourney that includes games against Michigan, Arkansas and Oregon State on Feb. 2325.
The tour of the Lone Star State concludes with a showdown at Dallas Baptist on Feb. 27.
The Pokes will open March with a ninegame homestand. OSU hosts Central Michigan in a four-game set beginning March 1 followed by a midweek pair against Utah Tech and a weekend series with Mercer.
OSU will travel to Norman to take on Oklahoma in a non-conference midweek tilt on March 12 before beginning Big 12 play.
The Cowboys will hit the road for their conference opener at Central Florida (March 15-17) and will also travel to West Virginia (March 29-31), Kansas State (April 19-21), Texas (May 3-5) and Houston (May 16-18) in league play.
OSU’s Big 12 home opening weekend is March 22-24 against Texas Christian University, with the Pokes also hosting OU (April 5-7), Cincinnati (April 12-14), Brigham Young University (April 25-27) and Texas Tech (May 10-12) at O’Brate Stadium.
Midweek contests highlighting the schedule are home match-ups against Missouri State (March 19), Oral Roberts (April 2), DBU (April 16) and Wichita State (April 30) and road tests at Wichita State (March 26 and April 9) and ORU (April 23).
The 2024 Big 12 Baseball Championship is scheduled for May 21-25 at Globe Life Field. NCAA Regional play begins May 31, with Super Regionals set for June 7-10 and the College World Series will be June 14-24 in Omaha, Neb.
