Hargrove Named AJGA/Rolex Junior All-America

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas freshman Rex Hargrove was named second team 2023 Rolex Junior All-America, as selected by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA).

Hargrove made the team on the strength of his win at the Jones Cup Junior Invitational Championship (December 2022). He shot 75-71–65 to win by a stroke at Sea Islands’ (Ga.) Seaside Course, which is also the home course of the Southeastern Conference Championships. He added an eighth-place finish at the Mayakoba Invitational and was ranked among the AJGA top 40.

Hargrove gives the current Razorback roster two players who were named Rolex Junior All-America as John Daly II was a second team selection in 2021.
