Tulsa improves to 2-0 on the season and 2-0 at home, while the Cardinals fall to 0-2.
Three TU players finished in double-figures, led by a career-high tying 27 points from graduate Cobe Williams. Williams added a team-high six assists and two steals. Isaiah Barnes and P.J. Haggerty each improved on their opening night totals with 16 and 15 points apiece. Barnes also pulled down 10 rebounds to notch the first double-double of his young career.
Josiah Hammons paced three Cardinals who scored double figures with 22 points. Sky Wicks added 15 points and Shon Robinson recorded a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards.
Tulsa shot 41 percent from the field and 39 percent from 3-point range, while holding the Cardinals to 29 percent from the floor and 27 from deep.
