Former Muldrow QB honored by MIAA Conference; Emporia State to meet SNU in Fun Town RV Heritage Bowl
EMPORIA, Kan. — Former Muldrow Bulldog and current Emporia State Hornets quarterback Braden Gleason was named to the first team of the 2023 All-MIAA Conference Team, which was announced Tuesday.

Gleason, a redshirt senior, has thrown for 3,773 yards and 41 touchdowns, while rushing for 80 yards and three TDs in 11 games for the Hornets (8-3 overall, 7-3 in MIAA Conference play).
The Hornets received good news on Tuesday when they found out they will be going to a postseason bowl game for the eighth time in the last 11 years.
Emporia State has earned an extra game as they will take on Southern Nazarene University of the Great American Conference in the Fun Town RV Heritage Bowl. The bowl will kickoff at noon Dec. 2 at Community Bank&Trust Stadium at Tiger Field in Corsicana, Texas.
