FFA, Cheer Squad participate in Veterans Day Assembly

The Gans FFA Chapter and Gans Cheer Squad recently participated in the Veterans’ Day Assembly at Gans High School on Nov. 10. Gans FFA Chapter President Mahar presented an essay, and Gans FFA Member Layla Manuel presented a poem in honor of the veterans. Members of the FFA, Jarrett Frazier-Barter, Alyssa Connelly, Logan Gavit, and Makinzie Kimble, along with Cheer Squad members Chloe Bowden, Aaliyah Taylor, Kennedy Ruckman, and Emi Webster honored the veterans by escorting them to their seats. “It was a great honor to show our appreciation for the veterans for their courage and sacrifice to our nation,” Mahar said.
