Calling all angels

Pam Wemhaner, manager of the Catholic Charities Helping Center, on Monday, Dec. 11, collected the hats, scarves and gloves the community donated for Your TIMES’ annual Giving Tree, and delivered the donated items for the Sallisaw Pastors Fellowship’s Angel Tree program. The annual Christmas outreach, which occurred today at the county fairgrounds, distributed the items to those in need, while also providing about 175 area families with a meal basket and gifts to more than 300 children.
