During the week of Dec. 11 17, 2023, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 23 animal calls, 129 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

10:47 a.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of N. Main St.
RP reports that someone has been threatening her and her mother, and that the person has begun to torment their dogs. SCSO responded.
4:15 p.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafely – In the vicinity of 995 Rd. RP advises that her landlord lives across the street and is shooting guns from his front yard. Though he has not shot in her direction, RP reports that she is concerned a stray bullet may hit a person or animal.

6:12 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – In the vicinity of E. 1120 Rd. RP reports that a female has been sitting inside her vehicle in the RP’s driveway, talking on the phone. RP asked the suspect to leave and she complied, but RP would like to file a report. Jeff Neighbors responded.
7:38 p.m. – Extra Patrol Request – In the vicinity of S. 4507 Rd. RP requested extra patrol in his neighborhood as his horse was recently shot, and he believes the suspect might cause harm to him or his family. Tyler Engleman responded.
7:55 p.m. – Fraud – Main S.
Liquor. RP advised that two men came into the store and bought $2,500 of liquor for a wedding, but upon checking the receipt, the store owner noticed that the transaction was fraudulent. Shane Duncan responded.
7:59 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of Logue Ave. RP was recently served a PO and has further questions about vehicles being at the residence during the service.

8:30 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of S. 4605 Rd. RP purchased a boat from someone and upon returning home, the seller texted the RP and said that he would “come onto the boat anytime he wanted to.” RP would like to make a report. Mark Choate responded.

12:36 a.m. – Information I-40 at 294.5 mile marker.
RP said that while driving on I-40, a white Ford Taurus with a spotlight attempted to force him to pull over. But as the car was clearly not a law enforcement vehicle, he did not heed its attempts and would like to report the situation. Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded.
8:55 a.m. – Information – In the vicinity of S. 4597 Rd.
RP wants to find out her rights. She says that her landlord opened her front door and placed an eviction notice on it, and the RP believes she does not have an eviction notice from the court. Shane Petree responded.
9:03 a.m. – Argument – In the vicinity of E. 1130 Rd.
RP reports he is trying to return to his house but a tree cutting company has the road blocked. He does not want to go around the worker’s vehicles, as it would scratch his truck. CJ McGee responded.
11:13 a.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of S.
4670 Rd. RP hired some workers to do work for her, and upon leaving they took her pressure washers and never returned to finish the work. Brian Stone responded.
4:08 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of S. 4776 Rd. RP found a wallet and would like to know how to return it to the owner. Dispatch advised the RP to take it to the Roland Police Department, so he did.
6:32 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of S. Main St. RP reports her barn has been broken into and things are missing. Marble City PD responded.
7:01 p.m. – Fraud – Unknown Location. RP says she is wanting to report food stamp fraud but when she first called 911, the dispatcher told her to hold, so she would like to report that also. Jeff Neighbors responded.
7:27 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of E. 1100 Rd. RP believes that his neighbors have illegally taken some of his property. Jeff Neighbors responded.
8:48 p.m. – Drugs – In the vicinity of S. 4498 Rd. RP believes that his neighbors are engaging in “possible drug activity.” Mark Choate responded, but could not make contact with the RP or the suspect.
11:06 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of Hwy. 59. RP says that someone came up to his front door, rang the bell and were looking for family members.
RP said he fired a warning shot because he was afraid that the dog the people had was going to bite him. The people are now driving up and down the road in a black pickup truck. Tyler Engleman and Jeff Neighbors responded.

9:22 a.m. – Harassment -In the vicinity of E. 1130 Rd.
RP is being evicted by her roommate and says the roommate is now harassing her. Justin Deuley responded but could not make contact with the RP.
9:27 a.m. – Other – Roland Pilot Station. RP said that his girlfriend was upset with him and shot at him. During this time, other calls reporting the incident were reported. Cody Parkerson, Roland PD and Daniel Whitus responded.
10:13 a.m. – Threats – In the vicinity of E.960 Rd. RP is from the assessor’s office and reports that her field agents were being shot at by the homeowner. Steven Jenkins, Justin Deuley and Galen Irvin responded, but the suspect fled.
10:21 a.m. – Speak with Deputy – Unknown Location. RP would like to find out how to get her car back from the mechanic, as he refuses to give her an update or see the car, until she pays money for the repairs. Cody Parkerson responded.
11:54 a.m. – Altercation – In the vicinity of Dover St. RP advised that his neighbor came onto his property and physically assaulted him. RP believes no weapons were involved. Justin Deuley, Larry Milligan and Joleen McLaughlin responded.
12:01 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of E. 1124 Rd. RP reports someone laying on the side of the road. Cody Parkerson responded.
1:00 p.m. – Vandalism – In the vicinity of Kyler Pl. RP advised that her neighbor shot out her back window this morning while RP and her boyfriend were in the vehicle, because the neighbor was upset with the boyfriend. Cody Parkerson responded.
1:34 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of Hunter Rd. RP had paperwork from a judge granting permission to do a walk-through of a house but upon arriving, the RP found the previous owners still there. Larry Milligan responded.
2:08 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – Unknown Location.
RP would like to find out how to obtain his property back from his former residence. Cody Parkerson responded.
3:56 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – In the vicinity of E. 1115 Rd. RP reports there is a pickup truck with junk in the back, driving up and down the road. Daniel Whitus responded.
4:08 p.m. – Information – In the vicinity of S. 4750 Rd.
RP would like to find out how to repossess his truck from his daughter, who has stopped making payments on it. Allen Ramey responded.
10:19 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of E. 1155 Rd. RP stated there is a male outside her residence talking with her husband, and the person seems to not be making sense and is acting very suspiciously. Charles Webber responded.

9:24 a.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of S. 4760 Rd. RP would like to report the theft of his welder that was taken from his home while he was incarcerated.

1:24 p.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of E. 1095 Rd. RP said there is an abandoned home near his house and that he has recently seen people at the house. He is concerned they might move in and make the house into a drug lab. Cody Parkerson responded.
2:25 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – Moonshine. RP reports having seen a vehicle towing a trailer with junk in it, and the vehicle is throwing sparks onto the road. Justin Deuley responded.
4:04 p.m. – Trespassing – In the vicinity of Hwy. 64.
RP stated that there were two men sitting in a van outside the bargain center and would not leave.
When the RP left, she was followed and the people tried to gain entry into her vehicle, and ripped off a door handle. Daniel Whitus responded and made an arrest.
4:19 p.m. – Information Unknown Location. RP reports that Dollar General has been sending out flyers for two years now with “$2 off” Pepsi, but each time she tries to redeem the coupons, Dollar General refuses to honor them. RP states she has called corporate and they will not do anything. Justin Deuley responded.
4:42 p.m. – Information – In the vicinity of S. 4485 Rd.
RP stated that he allowed his friend to stay with him, but the friend was supposed to get a job and has not. The friend is now constantly drunk, and the RP would like to have him trespassed. Charles Webber and Justin Deuley responded and made an arrest.
4:56 p.m. – Information – In the vicinity of S. 4720 Rd.
RP would like to have a deputy assist him in obtaining his property from an address. However, the homeowner has been stalking him and last night got his vehicle stuck in the RP’s front yard. Now, the suspected stalker is back and has an AR-47 gun in the vehicle. Justin Dueley, Mark Choate, Cody Parkerson, Brian Rutherford, Steven Jenkins, Allen Ramey, Hunter Hutchinson, GalenIrvin, Daniel Whitus, Michelle Rigsby, Dwayne Frizzell, Andrew Edwards, and Charles House responded.
7:36 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – In the vicinity of S. 4750 Rd. RP reports upon returning home from work, there was a car in his driveway backing out very slowly. Hunter Hutchinson responded.
9:42 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – Unknown Location.
RP left items at someone’s house in Marble City and the homeowner refuses to give them back. Charles Webber responded.
10:39 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of N. Thornton. RP reports a truck pulled up in the street and someone pulled a woman inside the vehicle and drove away. Charles Webber responded but could not make contact with the suspect or RP.

5:35 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of Steven Owens Dr.
RP advises that someone is inside his house and will not leave. She previously had the person trespassed. Tyler Engleman responded.
8:37 p.m. – Extra Patrol Request. RP recently had an argument with her drunk boyfriend, who then drove away. He should be home around 4 a.m. and she is fearful of his return. Jeff Neighbors responded.
9:12 p.m. – Suspicious Person – In the vicinity of S. 4437 Rd. RP says that there is someone with a known warrant walking down the street. Mark Choate and Tyler Engleman responded.
9:13 p.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of Steven Owens Dr. RP stated that she is the neighbor of the previous caller, and that the woman came to her house and screamed at her, and is now blocking her door so that the RP cannot leave her home. Mark Choate, Tyler Engleman and Gore PD responded.

9:50 a.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd.
RP advised he has a PO against his former friend, and she is now violating the PO and threatening him via text messages.
Shane Petree responded.
11:31 a.m. – Argument – In the vicinity of E. Seminole Ave. RP is wanting his friend removed from his house as she is becoming physically violent. The RP said that he did not want to have officers show up, or make a report, but would like it documented.
The RP later called back to cancel the request, but Brian Stone and Shane Petree still responded.
1:34 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of 4448 Rd. RP reports that someone has broken into his gun safe and stolen several pistols. Brian Stone and Shane Petree responded.
1:38 p.m. – Harassment – In the vicinity of 1144 Rd.
RP reports that his friend has been stalking him for months, and that she is still showing up and scaring him. CJ McGee responded.
1:49 p.m. – Argument – In the vicinity of E. 1086 Rd.
RP would like to have a deputy trespass a family member from her property as he is becoming belligerent and physical. Brian Stone responded.
2:34 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of Hwy.
82. RP was advised by a bail bonds person that he is not allowed at a family member’s residence, and he would like to know his rights. Brian Stone and CJ McGee responded.
6:22 p.m. – Stolen Property – In the vicinity of E. 1120 Rd. RP would like to make a report about someone stealing their mail from their box and putting it in other boxes. Mark Choate responded.

6:29 a.m. – Disturbance – In the vicinity of 972 Rd. RP would like to report that a family member has returned home drunk and is being belligerent. Brian Stone and Shane Petree responded.
10:29 a.m. – Shooting Firearms Unsafely – In the vicinity of E. 1040 Rd. RP has been having issues with her neighbors, and the neighbors have been shooting guns in the direction of her home. Shane Petree, Brian Stone and CJ McGee responded and made an arrest.
11:24 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – In the vicinity of E. 1112 Rd. RP advises that a black truck and maroon van have consistently showed up at an abandoned house in her neighborhood each night, and the people act suspicious. CJ McGee, Brian Stone, Mark Choate, Justin Deuley and Shane Petree responded and made an arrest.
1:30 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of E. 1135 Rd. RP recently filed a report of someone harassing her and since then the person has texted her over 40 times, she would like to know what to do. CJ McGee responded.
2:11 p.m. – Speak with Deputy – In the vicinity of Hwy. 82. RP was recently arrested, charged and is awaiting his court date.
However, the RP feels he was illegally and unlawfully arrested and that this might affect his career.
Shane Petree responded.
3:16 p.m. – Property Dispute – In the vicinity of E. 1056 Rd. RP advised she was evicted from her home by a family member and returned to obtain her property, but the family member closed the door and locked it, and has also changed the locks. RP is requesting an officer to escort her inside the house to get her things. Justin Deuley responded.
4:40 p.m. – Other – In the vicinity of E. 995 Rd. 911 received a phone call but no one was speaking. Dispatch could hear someone either yelling, or just being loud. Upon arriving at the scene, Brian Stone and Shane Petree found that it was an accidental dial.
6:20 p.m. – Suspicious Person – Simple Simon’s Pizza. RP reports someone making trouble at the pizzeria, and that the suspect is now in an abandoned building across the street.

8:08 p.m. – Other – Love’s.
RP reports that a semi truck drove behind the building, caused damage and left. Kaityln Sanders responded.
