Brushy wrestlers participate in Rumble on the River
Several Brushy Wrestling Club members competed in last Saturday’s Rumble on the River, which took place at Gore Event Center.
Several Brushy Wrestling Club members competed in last Saturday’s Rumble on the River, which took place at Gore Event Center.
Knox Martin-McGowan placed fourth in the age 6-and-younger division, while he wrestled in five matches in the roundrobin novice age 8-andyounger division.
Most other members also participated in round-robin events.
Avis Lamp went 2-0 and Jessie Bentley 2-1 in the novice age 8-and-younger division.
Bryson Lamp went 2-0 in the novice age 10-andyounger division, while fellow member Jaxston Cottrell went 1-1.
Hayley Bentley went 2-1 in the open age 12-and-younger division, while Pattrick Fletcher went 2-2, Layten Cross went 1-1 and Carson Limore and Silas Grayson competed in the open age 10-and-younger division.
Cooper Fletcher, Preston Cross and Miko Flynn all competed in bracket-style events but did not place.
