TULSA — The Oral Roberts University women’s basketball team moved to 11-0 at home after defeating St. Thomas 80-73 behind a strong bench performance Thursday night at the ORU Mabee Center.

TULSA — The Oral Roberts University women’s basketball team moved to 11-0 at home after defeating St. Thomas 80-73 behind a strong bench performance Thursday night at the ORU Mabee Center.
Five Golden Eagles reached double-figure scoring on the night led by former Howe Lady Lion Jalei Oglesby’s 17 points. Gentry Baldwin (13 points), Hannah Cooper (13), Taleyah Jones (12) and Ruthie Udoumoh (12) rounded out the players in doubledigits.
However, the Golden Eagles fell to South Dakota State 103-77 as their 11-game home-winning streak came to an end Saturday afternoon.
Jones led all scorers with 26 points as she recorded her ninth game of 20 or more points. Cooper (17 points) and Oglesby (10) were the other Golden Eagles that reached double-digits.
The Golden Eagles will hit the road to Fargo, N.D., to take on North Dakota State at 7 p.m. Thursday.
