4 Brushy wrestlers are state champions, 5 others place

OKLAHOMA CITY — Four Brushy Wrestling Club members won state titles at last weekend’s Oklahoma Kids Wrestling Association (OKWA) State Tournament, which took place last Friday and Saturday at Jim Norick State Fair Arena.

Layten Cross, Liliana Guerrero, Abel Glover and Charlie Petree all were crowned state champions.

Gipsee Reed was state runnerup, Avie Lamp and Isaac Glover were third and Hayley Bentley and Rocklyn Johnson placed sixth.

Tristen Cross, Seth Glover, Ruby Johnson, Silas Grayson, Jesse Bentley and Rylan Henry also wrestled at the state tournament but did not place.
