The Cowboys finished with a 54-hole total of 883, 31-over par, at the par-71, 7,156-yard layout. Arizona State cruised to a nine-shot victory, finishing at 833 and ahead of runner-up Texas Tech and 17 shots clear of Arkansas.
Stanford’s Michael Thorbjornsen held on for a one-shot victory in the individual race after closing with a 69 to finish at 10-under 203.
Fifth year Rayhan Thomas climbed 14 spots into a tie for 14th place to lead OSU’s starting five. Thomas closed with a 67 to finish at 2-under 211. With a front nine that featured birdies at the fifth and seventh, Thomas logged four birdies on his second nine, carding birdies at No. 13, 14, 16 and 17 for a 3-under 33 side.
