GRIEF TALKS

Consider this

Death is a thief. He comes and steals from us. Steals our reason for being. Steals the ones we love the most. Steals our comfort and peace. It’s not just the physical form he takes though. It’s the touches, glances, words. Sometimes, we see him coming, knowing he’s around the corner after an illness or a long life. Other times, he surprises us, taking when we aren’t expecting, when they’re too young or when nothing seemed wrong. He doesn’t take without a trade though. When he leaves, he leaves pain in our heart. A pain that never goes away. A pain we carry with us the rest of our lives. There are things that can help however.
