Residents getting crafty for spring

Hello to all and a big welcome to spring. We were going to start off spring with a picnic, but it was a bit too chilly out, so we decided to have crafts. We are rescheduling the picnic for a warmer day. We did have fun however, painting and crafting for tomorrow’s decoupage project with Brenda.

Monday is our monthly trip to the mall and the ladies are so excited, J.C. Penney’s and Bath and Body Works are at the top of their list. Of course, we will dine out for lunch, which is always a highlight of the day. We also have Michael Waylon here this week which is always a treat.

Gerry Baze will be here next week to sing and we will host our monthly birthday party and Easter party and egg hunt next week.

We are also working on candy bags for the little ones, which just thrills the ladies, doing a project for the kids. We will color eggs this week. Not to hunt, but to eat. They love them. But it sure is fun coloring them. Well I’m off to get donuts, we are having coffee and donuts this morning.
