Sallisaw student places at state broadcast showcase
The Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association (OBEA) recently honored University of Central Oklahoma professional media students at its annual student broadcast competition with 22 awards for student-produced audio/radio, video/television and new media broadcasts.
The Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association (OBEA) recently honored University of Central Oklahoma professional media students at its annual student broadcast competition with 22 awards for student-produced audio/radio, video/television and new media broadcasts.
Receiving second place in Radio Newscast was Bailey Brown, a senior from Sallisaw, with “UCentral Radio Entertainment Update.”
Central professional media students competed against students from 11 other Oklahoma universities and colleges to demonstrate their skills in the highly competitive field of broadcasting. The OBEA student competition attracted 230 entries judged by media professionals from Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Enid, Lawton and surrounding areas.
