OSU athletes set PRs at Clyde Hart Classic

WACO, Texas — Oklahoma State’s track team competed action at the Clyde Hart Classic, with several more athletes setting new personal bests in the first meet of the outdoor season.
Crayton Shaw set his personal best in the prelims of the javelin throw, before returning in the final and tossing a nearly six-meter PR in the event with his throw of 53.88 meters, which now puts him fifth in program history. In the same event, Philip Frank also set a new personal best and ranks 10th at OSU with his mark of 45.61 meters.
On the women’s side, Annie Molenhouse broke her personal record in the 100-meter hurdles with her time of 14.73 seconds. Overall, three Cowgirls placed in the top 10 on the day, with Saara Hakanen placing sixth in the high jump and Bailey Golden finishing seventh and eighth in the 100-meter hurdles and high jump, respectively.
The Cowboys and Cowgirls return to action this weekend as the team splits up for the first time all season, with the distance crew heading to Stanford, the sprinters to Texas and the rest of the team traveling to Wichita, Kan.
