Vian Elementary pre-enrollment scheduled for Kindergarten, 3/4-year-old programs

Vian Elementary will have Kindergarten pre-enrollment on April 15 and 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the elementary office. Children, who will be 5-years-old on or before Sept. 1, are eligible for Kindergarten classes. Parents of incoming Kindergarteners DO NOT need an appointment. At the time of enrollment the parent is required to complete a Vian Elementary Enrollment form and present the following documents:

Vian Elementary will have Kindergarten pre-enrollment on April 15 and 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the elementary office. At the time of enrollment the parent is required to complete a Vian Elementary Enrollment form and present the following documents:

• Child’s state issued birth certificate

• Child’s current shot record (Immunizations must be current for enrollment. You may not enroll for Kindergarten unless they have ALL of their shots.)

• Child’s social security card

• Custody or Guardianship papers (if applicable)

• Child’s CDIB card (if they are of Native American descent)

• Parent’s state issued photo I.D.(driver’s license)

• Proof of residency (e.g. a current electric or water bill) Vian offers a 4-year-old Pre-Kindergarten program on a first-come first-served basis to children who are 4-years-old on or before Sept. 1. Enrollment is April 15 and 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Parents must apply to Adventure Head Start to be considered. The child must be potty trained. The following documents are required:

• Child’s state issued birth certificate

• Child’s current shot record (Immunizations must be current for enrollment)

• Child’s social security card

• Custody or Guardianship papers (if applicable)

• Child’s CDIB card (if they are of Native American descent)

• Parent’s state issued photo I.D.(driver’s license)

• Proof of residency (e.g. a current electric or water bill)

• Vian offers a 3-year-old program in cooperation with Adventure Head Start. You may go to https://bit.ly/adventurehs to enroll. To complete the application you will need: Child’s birth certificate & verification of family income (i.e. pay stubs, employer’s statement, previous years tax form, or proof of benefits like TANF, EBT, SSI, or Foster Care payments).

Once the initial enrollment is complete, an official from Adventure Head Start will contact you. This program is incomebased.
