After the Cowgirls (39-14) were two-hit on Monday by Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College’s pitcher, they were four-hit by Iowa Western’s pitcher as Jaydn Muns, Haley Seawright, Lexi Cramp and Lynzi Kelley all singled. Iowa Western broke a scoreless tie with a single run in the second inning for a 1-0 lead, but put the game into run-rule status with a pair of four-run innings in the third and fourth innings. Wyatt (22-7) took the loss, going the first three innings. Alyssa Opgenorth went the rest of the way.
