Roland senior ace named Pitcher of the Year in District 3A-7

10 Rangers on all-district team

Ten Roland Rangers baseball players were honored in some way on the 2024 District 3A-7 Team.

Roland senior ace, Arkansas signee and Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association Middle East All-State Team member Carson Wiggins was named the District 3A-7 Pitcher of the Year. He went 3-2 this season with 93 strikeouts this season for the 13-15 Rangers.

Three other Rangers were named to the first team all-district — catcher Ashton Peters, infielder Paden Pitts and utility player Alex Brant.

First baseman Colton Peters, outfielder Trenton Ross and utility player Avery Moya were named to the second team all-district.

Hunter Burris, Raesean Perryman and Drew Simpson were honorable mention on the all-district team.
