Gina Cox seeks re-election as Court Clerk

Political Party: Republican Hometown: Heber Springs, Ark. Current Town: Sallisaw Education: 12th Grade Age: 55 Candidate Background: I am the current Sequoyah County Court Clerk and prior to that, I worked five years as an assistant office administrator for the sheriff’s office. I was employed for six years by the town of Roland as a communication officer and dispatch supervisor, before continuing up the ranks. After serving four years as Roland court clerk, I ran for the office of county court clerk in 2020. I’ve enjoyed serving as Sequoyah County Court Clerk and hope to continue doing so for another four years. I have participated in many community events, including Shop with a Cop/Firefighter, an annual Fun Day at the park for kids, and have done charity walks for child cancer awareness, breast cancer and multiple sclerosis.
