Nutrition center quilt drawing ticket sales hits record $2,300
Noting that this year’s quilt will be its last, the Sallisaw Senior Nutrition Center saved the best for last, receiving a record $2,300 from the sale of tickets for the last drawing.

Winner of the final quilt was David Slaughter of Sallisaw.
Sallisaw Nutrition Center also has available for sale vintage quilts, lap quilts, jewelry, artificial flowers, crochet thread, lace and several other items.
The record sales were due to the generosity of area merchants and residents. In addition to ticket sales, the nutrition center also received donations from merchants, which was greatly appreciated.
The annual fundraiser helps the nutrition center provide beverages for the meals it serves.
In addition to the quilt drawing, the nutrition center also has available for sale vintage quilts, lap quilts, jewelry, artificial flowers, crochet thread, lace and several other items.
The Senior Nutrition Center is located at 115. W. Redwood Avenue.
