Big 12 Conference basketball match-ups revealed for season

By RYAN CAMERON OKSTATE.COM

IRVING, Texas — The Oklahoma State women’s basketball team has learned its Big 12 match-ups for the upcoming season with the announcement of the conference scheduling format for the 2024-25 season.

The 2024-25 season marks the Big 12’s first with 16 member institutions.

The Cowgirls will have three homeand- away series, taking on Cincinnati, Kansas and West Virginia twice each.

Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas State and Texas Christian University will all pay visits to Stillwater, while the Cowgirls will make trips to Baylor, Brigham Young University, Central Florida, Houston, Texas Tech and Utah.

Opponents were selected based on a combination of geography, historical results and a poll of the coaches to best balance the schedule in terms of travel and competitiveness.

A full Big 12 schedule as well as OSU’s non-conference slate will be released at a later date.
