The Roland Chamber of Commerce said Saturday’s 2024 Iron Mountain Festival and Freedom Celebration went smoothly and was well attended by over 1,000 people.
The Chamber said they wish to thank the town of Roland for allowing them the use of the park and facilities, and congratulate them for pulling off another successful fireworks display.
They also wish to thank the Cherokee Nation, who contributes to the budget for the fireworks each year.
The Roland Fire and Police Departments, along with town employees, helped park cars, direct traffic, set up and clean up, and kept everyone safe.
Chamber President Cody Click provided a hospitality room this year to show his appreciation to all the volunteers, providing food and water to everyone that helped with the festival.
The Chamber said people of all ages stepped up to volunteer when needed and really helped everything come together, from unloading vendors and working the Chamber Pavilion, to chaperoning the Kid Zone.
They said they already look forward to 2025!
