‘Fun Ride’ bicycle event coming Saturday to Vian

The Fort Smith National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) will have a “Fun Ride” for youth in grades six through 12 from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Vian bike trails.

It’s just a fun leisure ride in hopes to recruit more students to participate in NICA.

Hamburgers will be grilled for all participants.

To pre-register, call Vian Public Schools Resources Officer/Captain Robert Allen at (918) 773-7167. Allen said a headcount is needed to be known for the event.
