Chapter anniversary coming up

By Billie Anthony

Monday’s membership attendance was 13. We missed our other five members. Cindy had the best weight loss for the second week in a row with 3.2 pounds. Way to go Cindy! We had a chapter net loss of 8.9 pounds. Great job Ladies!! Since the Lucky Lotto contest ended, we are starting a new contest ‘Water Tracking’. So far a majority of the ladies are doing well with the contest. We are to drink 8 glasses of water a day for the entire month of July. The Surprise Box has nine more stickers to be crossed out. The Ladder contest has Lynda on the fourth rung. Keep climbing Lynda! Barbara’s name was drawn for the Two Bit Bowl, but she had a slight gain, so the quarters will stay until someone’s name is drawn who has lost weight. Our Chapter Challenge for this week is to walk around our houses three times per day for six days.

We went over our Chapter Bylaws and the only change was an increase for Chapter Registration for Fun days to $7. Our chapter voted to accept the 2024-25 by laws. OK 0737 Sallisaw will be celebrating our sixth year anniversary as a chapter. We are planning on having an August Anniversary Half-Price Membership Celebration for the entire month of August. This will be an excellent time to join a support group to get healthy and enjoy making friends with a great group of ladies who are trying their best to get healthy. Your first visit is free, so come check us out! It cost $49 a year to join TOPS Club INC. We meet at First Christian Church, 706 N Wheeler, Sallisaw, Monday at 10:30am-12pm. We begin weighing at 10:30am and the meeting starts at 11 am and ends at 12. For more info, please call Billie at 918/413-1383. We look forward to meeting you.
