During the week of July 1-7, 2024, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 23 animal calls, 146 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from last week’s reports:

07/01/2024

12:53 a.m. – Prowler- In the vicinity of S. 4498 Rd- RP called and advised that his security camera showed someone on his back porch. Jeff Neighbors responded.

8:20 a.m. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Old Hwy. 64- RP stated that a vehicle followed her to her workplace, and then circled the parking lot in an attempt to threaten her. Daniel Whitus responded.

8:21 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Unknown Location in Gore- RP requested a copy of the county’s eviction process. Gore PD responded.

10:26 a.m. – Speak with Deputy In the vicinity of Hwy. 64- RP reported that neighbors were shooting fireworks. Tyler Engleman responded.

10:56 a.m. – Trespassing- Unknown Location- RP reported that his ex-girlfriend illegally entered his property, and he wanted to have her trespassed. Hunter Hutchinson and Tyler Engleman responded.

12:39 p.m.- Fight In Progress- In the vicinity of Ottawa St- RP advised that someone claimed to have seen something happening in her yard and began to fight with her. Kaitlyn Sanders and Caleb Taylor responded.

3:04 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Choctaw St- RP advised that his trailer had been stolen from his property. Tyler Engleman and Dennis Thomas responded.

5:06 p.m.- Harassment-In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd- RP reported that his neighbors have been speeding down the road and making rude hand signs. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

8:15 p.m.- Drugs- In the vicinity of Steve Jones- RP reported that she witnessed a drug deal happen. Keenan Gibson responded.

9:30 p.m.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Hwy. 82- RP reported that a vehicle was off the side of the road, and the driver seemed to be acting suspicious. Robert Rice responded.

9:37 p.m.- Breaking and Entering- In the vicinity of E. Shawntel Smith Blvd- RP reported that she heard a noise in her home and discovered that it was a burglar. Allen Ramey and Muldrow PD responded.

07/02/2024

12:16 p.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of S. 4705 Rd- RP stated that her son’s RV had been spray painted and she wanted to make a report. Daniel Whitus responded.

2:19 p.m.- Suspicious Vehicle Unknown Location- RP advised there was an unknown green SUV parked in his driveway. Tyler Engleman responded.

3:38 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of the Vian PD- RP advised that her son was pulled over and searched without her permission. Mark Harkins responded.

6:24 p.m.- Fraud- Pier 7- RP stated that someone has been taking money from her bank account, and possibly has been tampering with her mail. Mark Choate responded.

7:36 p.m.- Speak with Deputy Unknown Location- RP called to request to update a report he made the previous week in regards to his employee. Allen Ramey responded.

8:35 p.m.- Information- Unknown Location- RP called to report that someone was harassing a family member on Facebook by posting photos of her and her team roster in a public group. Allen Ramey responded.

9:18 p.m.- Extra Patrol- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101- RP stated that there had been a specific vehicle stopping in front of her house, and it was appearing suspicious. Allen Ramey and Mark Choate responded.

949 p.m.- Harassment- In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd- RP reported that an unknown person has been posting photos of the RP on Facebook without her permission. Justin Deuley responded.

07/03/2024

12:17 a.m. – Other- In the vicinity of Pendergrass St- RP advised that a juvenile came to their house to report that his house was on fire. Allen Ramey responded.

9:02 a.m. – Speak with Deputy Unknown Location- RP requested to speak to a deputy in regards to someone who had been making threats against his family. Specifically, the RP requested to know why the subject was not in prison. CJ McGee responded.

1:22 p.m.- Trespassing- Big Daddy’s- RP reported that someone was trespassing on his sister’s property and possibly camping in the woods. Jeremy Walters responded.

2:27 p.m.- Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4530 Rd- RP advised that someone had stolen his dad’s utility trailer. Jeremy Walters and Dennis Thomas responded.

3:02 p.m.- Trespassing- Dollar General Gore- RP wanted to inquire about having a customer permanently trespassed. TJ Lane responded.

3:53 p.m.- Speak with Deputy-In the vicinity of E. 1023 Rd- RP advised that they purchased property and the former owners left a bull there. Brian Stone responded.

5:34 p.m.- Stolen Property- Sparks Store- RP advised that he lost his phone while in the store and used another device to locate the phone, and wanted to have a deputy retrieve it. Jeff Neighbors, Duwaine Chase and Brian Stone responded.

7:10 p.m.- Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of S. 4717 Rd- RP called to report someone came into her home and was hiding inside. Duwaine Chase and Jeff Neighbors responded.

9:22 p.m.- Other- In the vicinity of Chestnut Circle- RP stated that his water heater broke and dumped water all over his floor, and that he needed help turning the water heater off. Robert Rice responded.

9:08 p.m.- Information- In the vicinity of S. 4626 Rd- RP requested a deputy to help him obtain his mother’s items from his grandfather’s house. Duwaine Chase responded.

07/04/2024

12:26 p.m.- Breaking and Entering- In the vicinity of E. 1026 Rd- RP reported that someone has been regularly breaking into his home, and despite no items being taken the house has some damage from forceful entry. CJ McGee responded.

1:19 p.m.- Suspicious Person Gans- RP reported that a man was walking along 141 and trying to jump in front of cars. CJ McGee and Brian Stone responded.

4:21 p.m.- Breaking and Entering- In the vicinity of Cherokee Rd- RP advised that someone has been taking items from his RV. CJ McGee and Justin Deuley responded.

5:50 p.m.- Suspicious Vehicle In the vicinity of Hwy. 64- RP reported a drunk driver traveling westbound on Hwy. 64. Johnny Turner and Brett Visor responded.

8:54 p.m.- Complaint- In the vicinity of Martin Luther King Blvd- RP requested a deputy talk to her neighbors about shooting fireworks towards her property. Robert Rice and Johnny Turner responded.

9:28 p.m.- Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of the Overlook by the dam – RP reported that two trucks were parked in the area playing loud music. Gary Adams responded.

07/05/2024

2:13 a.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of N. 6th St- RP reported that someone took her phone from her house. Duwaine Chase responded.

11:39 a.m. – Stolen Property- In the vicinity of S. 4612 Loop- RP advised that someone keeps taking the lock off of his storage buildings and moving items around. Garrett Fargo responded.

1:03 p.m.- Trespassing- Dollar General Gore- RP reported that a customer they recently had trespassed was back at the property. Joleen McLaughlin responded.

1:03 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101- RP advised that she recently loaned a gun to someone to scare off some dogs, and the person did not return the gun. Daniel Whitus responded.

3:22 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd- RP reported that her neighbors (across the street) have a security camera facing her house. Tyler Engleman responded.

4:44 p.m.- Extra Patrol Request In the vicinity of S. 4488 Dr- RP advised there was a white car that seemed out-of-place in the neighborhood and she felt it was suspicious. Justin Deuley and Tenkiller State Park responded.

6:05 p.m.- Prowler- In the vicinity of E. 1108 Rd- RP stated that someone was spotted on her Ring doorbell camera and she needed a deputy to respond. Allen Ramey, Hunter Hutchinson and Mark Choate responded.

6:39 p.m.- Vandalism- In the vicinity of E. 1070 Rd- RP advised that they returned home after a weekend away to find that their vehicle’s windows were busted. Justin Deuley responded.

7:47 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of Tenkiller- RP stated that there was a group of people fighting and racing in the area. Tenkiller State Park responded.

7:50 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1096 Rd- RP reported that his neighbor had been entering his property illegally and that his dog may have bit the subject. Allen Ramey responded.

8:59 p.m.- Argument- Garden Walk- RP advised that someone came to her front door and started banging on it and yelling. Joseph Herrera responded.

9:22 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1096 Rd- RP stated that her neighbors were shooting fireworks at her house again. Allen Ramey and Hunter Hutchinson responded.

9:34 p.m.- Fight in Progress- In the vicinity of E. 968 Rd- RP called to report that two people have been fighting with both fists and other items in her home. Allen Ramey, Hunter Hutchinson, Mark Choate and Justin Deuley responded and made an arrest.

10:34 p.m.- Disturbance- Strayhorn- RP reported that a man was in a public restroom stall yelling at the RP, and then the man threw a beer can over the stall and hit the RP in the head. Jimmy Carson responded.

07/06/2024

12:08 a.m. – Suspicious Person In the vicinity of Hwy. 64- RP stated that there was a male with a dog out walking and knocking on doors. Allen Ramey, Justin Deuley and Mark Choate responded.

8:37 a.m. – Information- In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd- RP advised that she recently filed for bankruptcy and Bargain Center employees were banging on her door, despite her telling them to leave and call her attorney. Daniel Whitus, Trevor Charlton and Roland PD responded.

8:55 a.m. – Information- In the vicinity of S. 4700 Rd- RP advised that someone she has an active PO against was at her house all day long, and entered the house without permission. Trevor Charlton, Tyler Engleman and Garrett Fargo responded and made an arrest.

5:49 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of S. 4600 Loop- RP stated that his side-by-side had been stolen. The RP later called back to report that a family member had borrowed it. Hunter Hutchinson and Garrett Fargo responded.

7:27 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 1086 Rd- RP requested a deputy to remove someone from her property. Allen Ramey responded.

8:29 a.m. – Other- In the vicinity of E. 1000 Rd- RP advised that a four wheeler had been left behind by the fire department and they would like to have it removed. Justin Deuley responded.

8:51 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of S. 4704 Rd- RP reported that someone has been stealing her mail. Hunter Hutchinson and Allen Ramey responded.

9:47 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of S. 4595 Rd- RP advised that he was receiving harassing text messages from someone who borrowed his gun. The RP stated that the subject has not returned the gun to him (the RP). Justin Deuley responded.

10:05 p.m.- Noise Complaint- Unknown Location- RP stated that someone had been shooting fireworks in his area and he wanted them to stop. Joseph Herrera responded.

11:05 p.m.- Argument- In the vicinity of E. 996 Rd- RP advised that her friend has been staying with her, and the friend became drunk and has been throwing items at the RP. Herb Hutchinson and Allen Ramey responded.

07/07/2024

4:54 a.m. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 1060 Rd- RP called to report his vehicle stolen and that he believed his ex had taken it. Mark Choate, Tyler Engleman and Allen Ramey responded.

12:20 p.m.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of E. 1086 Rd- RP stated that someone stole his gun and tried to light his house on fire. Gary Adams, Hunter Hutchinson and Daniel Whitus responded.

1:07 p.m.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Steve Owens Rd- RP reported that an employee he fired today had not returned his work equipment. Tyler Engleman responded.

3:14 p.m.- Threats- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59- RP advised that her ex-husband returned to her house and started wrecking items inside. Hunter Hutchinson responded.

6:20 p.m.- Breaking and Entering In the vicinity of Steve Owens Rd- RP stated that his trailer had been tampered with while he was not home. Justin Deuley responded.

6:47 p.m.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of Steve Owens Rd RP called to ask if it is legal for her landlord to turn power off to her residence. Justin Deuley responded.

11:14 p.m.- Complaint- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101- RP advised that someone has been accusing her of doing drugs and causing issues. Allen Ramey and Mark Choate responded.
