FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas Razorback All-Americans Jacob Skov Olesen, John Daly and Taylor Moore are set to compete at The Open Championship, which started Thursday and will end Sunday at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland.

Olesen earned an exemption after becoming the first Dane to win The Amateur Championship this past June. He has climbed from 98th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings to 24 this summer after an impressive three-week stretch. In addition to winning The Amateur Championship, Olesen recorded a fifth-place finish at the European Amateur Championship and posted a 3-1 record at the Arnold Palmer Cup.

Daly will be playing in his 26th Open Championship. He was the 1995 Champion Golfer of the Year, beating Costantino Rocca in a four-hole playoff. It will be his third time playing Royal Troon in The Open rota.

Moore is playing his second Open Championship. His only other appearance was in 2023 at Royal Liverpool. Moore, the 2023 Valspar Champion, has finished tied for 20th at The Masters and tied for 12th at the PGA Championship this season.
