KMAC Enterprises, the company developing the site, has confirmed plans to construct three quick-service restaurants.

Two of the businesses are 7Brew Drive Thru Coffee as well as Taco Bell, a second restaurant for Sallisaw in addition to the location on East Cherokee Avenue.

But the crown jewel, and the restaurant causing the biggest fervor, of the restaurants coming to Sallisaw is Whataburger.

With a focus on quality and innovation, KMAC Enterprises has a proven track record of successful projects. According to the developers, the popular chains to be built are known for their delicious food, exceptional service and convenient locations.

“We are thrilled to bring these well-loved brands to Sallisaw,” says Theresa Estep, director of development and purchasing at KMAC Enterprises. “We believe that these new restaurants will not only provide residents with more dining options, but also contribute to the local economy.”

Construction is expected to begin within the next couple of weeks.

During the past year, the community has been stirring with excitement, anticipation and speculation about what might be coming to the property on the east side of Kerr Boulevard. And according to a press release, the City of Sallisaw is excited to see this project come to fruition.

The new jobs being created in Sallisaw have not only created a buzz of economic optimism, but also hope for an increase in the household median income.

Sallisaw officials aim to create a sustainable economic environment where residents can thrive. This includes working with local businesses to support their growth and expansion, as well as actively seeking out new industries.
