Lady Warriors 4th at NRC Invitational; runner has top-5 performance

SHAWNEE — The Webbers Falls Lady Warriors cross country team ended the week with a fourth-place finish at last Saturday’s North Rock Creek Invitational near Shawnee. They scored 56 points.

SHAWNEE — The Webbers Falls Lady Warriors cross country team ended the week with a fourth-place finish at last Saturday’s North Rock Creek Invitational near Shawnee. They scored 56 points.

Senior Cheyanne Herrier made the top five as she was fifth with a time of 14:30.24. Peyton Shanks was 21st (20:14.85), Kailey Mannon was 22nd (20:17.35) and Emily Coatney was 24th (21:43.59).

The Webbers Falls runners will be in action this Saturday at the Carlton Landing Invitational near Lake Eufaula.
