During the week of September 23 29, 2024, Sequoyah County law enforcement tended to 11 animal calls, 121 traffic stops, and numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included in last week’s reports:

12:10 A.M. – Other- Unknown Location- RP reported that someone kicked open the door to his home. Brett Visor and Tyler Engleman responded.
7:36 A.M. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 1115 Rd- RP called again to report his newer Chevy pickup truck had been stolen. Hunter Hutchinson responded.
7:45 A.M. – Disturbance- In the vicinity of S. 4750 Rd- RP stated that while house sitting, the home owner’s ex came to the house and refused to leave. Daniel Whitus responded.
9:50 A.M. – Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of Redland Rd- RP (an employee for the Railroad) reported that a vehicle had been burned and left beside the railroad tracks. Hunter Hutchinson and Court Waters responded.
9:57 A.M. – Suspicious Person In the vicinity of Hwy. 64- RP advised that a younger man with a backpack approached his fence line threatening him. Jarrod Rye and Daniel Whitus responded.
11:06 A.M. – Vandalism- Marble City Cemetery- RP reported that someone defaced his son’s headstone. Hunter Hutchinson responded.
11:16 A.M. – Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1090 Rd- RP advised that last week an unknown female stole items from his shed, and that today she returned. Jarrod Rye responded.
11:19 A.M. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64- RP reported that a male with a backpack attempted to get into his house. Daniel Whitus responded.
1:44 P.M.- Fraud- Unknown Location- RP called to report that someone was trying to scam him of money via his phone. Daniel Whitus responded.
5:40 P.M.- Suspicious Person- Unknown Location- RP advised that a man in dark clothing was defacing a sign on his property. Kevin Kirk responded.
5:46 P.M.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of S. 4750 Rd- RP reported that someone was on her land removing trees. Allen Ramey responded.
7:14 P.M.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4720 Rd- RP advised that his neighbor was sitting on his porch and appeared to not be in a good state of mind. Allen Ramey responded.
7:47 P.M.- Stolen Property- In the vicinity of Moonshine Rd- RP stated that their ex was trying to remove items from their shared home, but was causing a disturbance. Gary Adams responded.
8:49 P.M.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd- RP requested a deputy to respond to her home via a break-in. Mark Choate responded.
11:42 P.M.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of N. Main St- RP called and advised there was a vehicle parked in the middle of the storage unit parking lot that should not have been there. Gore PD responded.

8:24 A.M. – Other- In the vicinity of S. 4705 Rd- RP needed to have a deputy assist her with retrieving her personal belongings from a family member’s house. Daniel Whitus responded.
8:42 A.M. – Suspicious Person In the vicinity of Hwy. 64- RP advised there was a man with a ball cap on the road walking around with a knife. Daniel Whitus and CJ McGee responded.
9:39 A.M. – Stolen Vehicle- Unknown Location- RP reported that her truck was stolen while it was parked in Van Buren, Ark., but that the vehicle had no VIN number. Daniel Whitus responded.
9:45 A.M. – Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of Old Hwy. 64- RP stated that someone randomly left their belongings at his house. CJ McGee responded.
9:53 A.M. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Gazebo- RP reported that someone walking around with a backpack was going doorto- door at Garden Walk requesting to make rice for residents. Caleb Taylor responded.
10:05 A.M. – Speak with Deputy Unknown Location- RP called to inquire about how to obtain her personal property from the SCSO during her recent stay. CJ McGee responded.
11:20 A.M. – Speak with Deputy Unknown Location- RP requested the return of his firearms from SCSO, as they were taken by deputies during the morning arrest of his companion. Daniel Whitus responded.
5:03 P.M.- Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of Low Water Bridge RP advised that there was a man riding a horse, with a gun strapped to his leg, near the bridge acting suspicious. Hunter Hutchinson and Gary Adams responded.
5:14 P.M.- Speak with Deputy- RP reported that his spouse was removed from their shared home during a divorce proceeding, and she has returned to the home. Daniel Whitus responded.
5:14 P.M.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd- RP advised that there was an older pickup truck parked near her home with no one inside of it, and she wondered if a deputy could investigate it. Jarrod Rye responded.
6:08 P.M.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 968 Rd- RP reported that he recently had a PO against a family member, and she was heading to his home again. Allen Ramey responded.
8:11 P.M.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 1005 Rd- RP advised that he witnessed two vehicles drag racing down the road. Mark Choate responded.
9:49 P.M.- Stolen Property- Dollar General (Sparks)- RP reported that an older vehicle stole gas. Mark Choate, Allen Ramey and Sallisaw PD responded.

8:10 A.M. – Information- In the vicinity of S. 4469 Rd- RP advised that there is an older RV down the road from her that is inhabited, and looks to be unsafe. Shane Petree responded.
9:31 A.M. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of S. 4528 Rd- RP reported a man walking around in camouflage carrying an ax. Shane Petree responded.
12:29 P.M.- Harassment- In the vicinity of E. 982 Rd- RP called to report that a vehicle followed him home, pulled into his driveway and verbally attacked him. CJ McGee responded.
2:49 P.M.- Suspicious Person- Eastbound I-40- RP called to report that a woman was on the side of the freeway on-ramp trying to get into people’s cars. Robert Rice responded.
3:03 P.M.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1028 Rd- RP stated that she would like to have a family member’s friend trespassed from their shared home. Duwaine Chase, Court Waters and Justin Deuley responded.
4:10 P.M.- Suspicious Person- Unknown Location- RP advised that someone was at the abandoned barn near the smoke shop. Kevin Kirk and Robert Rice responded.
4:27 P.M.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of Hwy. 141- RP advised that he had seen some wild hogs running around Marble City. Brian Stone responded.
9:12 P.M.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4497 Rd- RP stated that someone moved into his residence, and now will not let him inside the house. Justin Deuley responded.
10:40 P.M.- Noise Complaint- In the vicinity of Cottonwood- RP stated that his neighbors were playing music far too loudly. Court Waters responded.

12:35 P.M.- Property Dispute- In the vicinity of E. 958 Rd- RP reported that someone had taken wood from his property. Brian Stone and Tyler Engleman responded.
8:23 P.M.- Argument- In the vicinity of Ray Fine Dr- RP advised that a family member and his companion were at his house screaming at him. Justin Deuley and Tyler Engleman responded.
8:44 P.M.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 1050 Rd- RP advised that there was an older pickup truck driving up-anddown his road in a suspicious manner. Justin Deuley responded.

8:32 A.M. – Breaking and Entering- In the vicinity of Steve Owens Rd- RP advised that someone had broken into her home and was still inside. Jarrod Rye responded.
10:27 A.M. – Speak with Deputy Black Taxidermy- RP reported that he was having trouble getting his deer back from the taxidermist. Hunter Hutchinson responded.
2:14 P.M.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4565 Rd- RP requested to speak with a deputy regarding a family member being at her home, despite having been trespassed. Jarrod Rye responded.
3:27 P.M.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of E. 1030 Rd- RP stated that a family member was at his residence and refusing to leave. Jarrod Rye and Gary Adams responded.
5:36 P.M.- Trespassing- In the vicinity of Hwy. 101- RP reported that he recently had two people trespassed from her home, but that they were presently at the property. Allen Ramey responded.
8:19 P.M.- Information- In the vicinity of S. 4490 Rd- RP reported that there was a man walking in the middle of the road. Justin Deuley responded.
9:14 P.M.- Vandalism- Ray Fine Park- RP was at the park when four juveniles threw rocks at vehicles, and one hit her windshield. Gore PD responded.

3:37 A.M. – Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1023 Rd- RP advised that there was a man on a motorcycle near the church. Mark Choate and Allen Ramey responded.
10:59 A.M. – Information- Unknown Location- RP reported that he was at the Vian football game and needed someone removed from the field. Kaitlyn Sanders responded.
11:43 A.M. – Stolen Vehicle- In the vicinity of Steven Owens Rd- RP stated that, while away from home for 85 days, her landlord sold her vehicle and evicted her from her home. Jarrod Rye responded.
5:10 P.M.- Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of Brushy Lake Dam RP advised that there was an SUV on the east side of the dam with no one in it. Hunter Hutchinson and Gary Adams responded.
11:01 P.M.- Suspicious Vehicle In the vicinity of 4705 Rd- RP reported that a white pickup was parked near his house for three hours with a male subject sitting inside of it. Allen Ramey and Court Waters responded.

1:29 A.M. – Suspicious Vehicle- In the vicinity of E. 1070 Rd- RP advised that there has been a vehicle racing up-and-down his street causing his dogs to go crazy. Court Waters and Allen Ramey responded.
9:08 A.M. – Information- In the vicinity of Wildwood- RP stated that he was having problems with his roommate and requested a deputy respond to the home. Billy Ellis responded.
6:41 P.M.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of S. 4640 Rd- RP reported that there was a dispute between the RP and a woman who was there to retrieve her horses from the property. Mark Choate responded.
7:00 P.M.- Other- In the vicinity of E. 968 Rd- RP requested to speak with a deputy regarding an argument he was having with others on Facebook. Allen Ramey responded.
9:29 P.M.- Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of E. 1000 Rd- RP stated that he recently gave money to someone for a payment, but there was a disagreement over that payment. Brian Rutherford responded.
11:46 P.M.- Disturbance- In the vicinity of Notchietown Church RP reported that her husband and two unknown bicyclists were having an argument in the church parking lot, and threats of firearms were made. Mark Choate, Brian Rutherford and Gore PD responded.
